Maybe itās a cultural thing because the reviews do not match my experience. We went in for a late night hang out and practically sat ourselves with no greeting or direction as to where to sit and/or order. Eventually i went to someone and asked these questions as well as for some water. We waited for water and our server for 15 minutes. We look at the menu and asked questions and a tall guy was very nice and attentive with his approach and I thought āok, this will be a great experience.ā Wrong again, no one came back to take our order until 30 minutes later all while the other tables are getting their food and drinks. Then we ask how long is the wait for food, she says 15, food comes out 30-45 minutes later. To top it all off, i was not impressed with the food at all. I expressed my concern, nothing was done or acknowledged really ANDD they have a 15% service fee(tip) included in the total for a party of TWO due to thatās how they do it in different countries but we are nottt in one of those countriesā¦.i was confused and flabbergasted. Like make it make sense. I will not come here again. Definitely felt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was my first time so I was struck at how charming the ambiance was, it was family friendly with the aesthetics of a cute coffee shop. When we were seated the server came and made sure we got a feel of the menu and that we felt comfortable. He made suggestions and answered our questions with great conversation. We ordered some appetizers (falafel, sweet potato fries, and regular fries) that we loved, and the food came before we even finished them all which was great. The food itself was godsend. I ordered chargrilled chicken over rice and it came with a side which I thought was an amazing deal. When we were finishing up we got a great dessert (I donāt remember the name), and I failed to mention that my companions also got natural fruit juices that were amazing and looked so cute (also a huge portion) if you ever visit we definitely recommend the mango juice. Overall, no complaints here. Great food, great price and great quantities. You can bet that I will be returning and recommending to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI make it a point to visit this place every time I am in Charlotte! Usually if you want good Mediterranean food or hookah you have to pick one or the other, but not here. The food here is amazing and I have yet to try anything I did not like. I personally would recommend the Kibbeh (ground beef pastry) for an appetizer and the lamb chops as an entree. The kitchen here is open until well past midnight, so it makes for a great late night option as well. I would also recommend one of their mixed drinks during your meal, my favorite is the fruit cocktails. They also have a wide array of pastries to try. The hookah here is top notch and they personally ensure every head is packed to perfection and constantly change out the coals and make sure the smoking experience does not degrade over time (as is natural at most places). Their new outdoor seating is great! Grab a coach, some of the delicious food, and a...
