I came in here in order a number six and a Gyro. I gave two stars because my food which was the number six beef kebab and rice, was really really good really good. My meat was perfectly done the jalapeño sauce was amazing but that was it. So, As my husband is chewing he’s takes out of his mouth a long piece of hair. See this is why it is important for cooks to wear hairnets so that your hair is not in the mist of peoples food. We work hard for our money and when we drive two hours away we do not expect to have a strangers hair in our food you cannot say is our hair. He is bald and I had on a wig and the hair texture doesn’t even match my wigs hair texture so we can’t say that. The hair was definitely inside of the food he bit into the Gyro chewed the Gyro and spit out hair this is unacceptable. And also the food that is out on the table, it needs to be covered with plastic wrap or put out of the way. Listen, customers cough in the air sneeze in the air and the food is open with no cover that is too much exposure I would love to try your food again because my food was amazing but my husband says he would never ever eat there again ever in 1 million years. I took a magnifying glass to look through the remaining gyro but found no more hair but he still didn’t want. He states he is disgusted

We tried a new place this evening. Got the lamb shank with rice and a lentil soup. Place is not bad and set up is a little different from what I'm used to. Lentil soup was good. Lamb shank was excellent, can't say the same for the rice. There was some kind of spice in the rice that just made it inedible, for me. Wife seemed to like it ok. Drinks from a cooler is not my thing, but only option. Price on the board was $19.99, which I thought was a little high, but I went with it, new experience and all. Came time to pay and it was $20.99. I asked about that and was told the price had gone up but they hadn't changed the sign yet. Not a great business practice Not the price so much, but they might have mentioned that when I ordered. Conclusion is their prices are a bit too high, though the lamb shank couldn't have been better, half the meal is lost due to the rice. Small 12 Oz. drinks at $3.50 a pop, is also ridiculous. So likely won't be going there again. Will miss the lamb, but nothing else. Place was well lit and clean. May be your cup of tea, but not mine. Too bad because I'd be up for trying one or two other dishes. Could recommend this place to try however.

A Delightful Culinary Journey at La Shish Kabob in Charlotte

La Shish Kabob has undoubtedly claimed its spot as the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Charlotte, and my recent dining experience there has only solidified its well-deserved reputation. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable culinary adventure.

The menu at La Shish Kabob boasts an array of tantalizing dishes, but it was the lamb shanks, kabobs, and shawarma that truly stole the show. The lamb shanks were succulent and tender, prepared with a delightful blend of Middle Eastern spices that danced on my taste buds. The kabobs, whether beef or chicken, were grilled to perfection, boasting a smoky flavor that was both comforting and satisfying. And the shawarma, with its perfectly seasoned meat and a medley of fresh vegetables, provided an explosion of flavors in every bite.

What pleasantly surprised me during my visit was encountering the girl with red hair, whom I often see at the bank. As it turns out, she is not only an efficient manager at the bank but also an integral part of La Shish Kabob. It was heartwarming to witness the dedication of a family-owned business, as she worked alongside her father, the owner, ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant. Her friendly nature and commitment to exceptional customer service added an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience.

The staff at La Shish Kabob deserves special recognition for their attentiveness and genuine care. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued guest. They were knowledgeable about the menu, ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions. The service was prompt, yet never rushed, allowing me to savor each dish at my own pace. It was evident that they genuinely wanted each patron to have a remarkable dining experience.

The ambiance of La Shish Kabob is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The cozy seating arrangements, adorned with Middle Eastern-inspired decor, create a relaxing atmosphere where conversations flow effortlessly. The background music, carefully curated to match the cuisine, added a touch of authenticity to the overall experience.

In summary, La Shish Kabob stands out as the epitome of Middle Eastern cuisine in Charlotte. The mouthwatering lamb shanks, kabobs, and shawarma will satisfy even the most discerning palates. The presence of the girl with red hair, working alongside her father, speaks volumes about the dedication and familial spirit behind this exceptional establishment. The excellent customer service and inviting ambiance are the cherries on top, making La Shish Kabob a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a remarkable Middle Eastern...

all the owner's daughters are nice and will behaved and give you a top-notch customer service Especially the daughter with initials M.I.F No matter how exhausted she is, how many hours she works, or how much I give her a hard time, she always puts on a smile and does her best to serve me and other customers. I believe she goes above and beyond, giving 185% effort instead...
