My boyfriend (now fiancé,) and I had discussed getting married for awhile now, and a few months ago, he’d asked for some direction in buying an engagement ring for when he decided to pop the question. I had some ideas in mind from rings I had seen online, but hadn’t seen much around town as far as what I was looking for. When I walked into QC Custom Jeweler’s, Tim sat and talked with me for awhile, took time to listen to my ideas and helped me figure out how to make it a reality. They don’t just do sizing or resetting, they will actually design and make you your own custom piece of jewelry! I relayed the ideas of the style and type of engagement ring I wanted, as well as the band I wanted to accompany it, and the budget we were working with. Tim punched some numbers and got back to me with the specs within a day or two of what he and his team could create to fit within said budget (which included both the custom 3ct round bezel set Charles & Colvard certified moissanite stone in 14kt yellow gold engagement ring, and a custom matching 2mm chevron wedding band.) I handed the info over to my boyfriend and he and Tim did the rest over the last few months. My fiancé asked me to marry him on our one year dating anniversary, in the exact spot he had asked me to be his girlfriend a year before. When he knelt down and pulled out the ring, I was floored and absolutely taken aback! It’s STUNNING, and my first words in response were, “YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! SHUT UP! YES! Of course I will marry you!” At dinner, my fiancé told me how easy and simple the process had been, and how having Tim be able to explain things and to answer any questions he had eased a lot of the worries pertaining to the ring buying process. I bought a pair of unique 18k gold earrings in Ghana this past January that I adore...big hoops with a 3D loop...such a different design. I happily wore them home from Ghana and every day in the month of January until I broke one of the hoops. I didn't realize how fragile the earrings were due to being hollow. I sulked about it for a few months and then decided to see if maybe a jeweler could repair them.

I went to a local jeweler and showed them my dilemma. I described the sentimental value of these earrings as well as the financial investment I'd made...they understood how important the earrings were to me. I returned after the first attempt, and the broken earring was disfigured and not close to its original beauty. Tim explained how unhappy he was with the attempted repair and asked if they could try again. He explained the intricacies of my hollow looped earring and asked for my patience.

Well, today I picked up my earrings, and I am super happy with the end result!!! @qccustomjewelers gave me back a sentimental momento that is extremely valuable to me. Their personalized service and quality work are unmatched. I say this as a person who has patronized other jewelry stores (chains and upscale).
