Rea Farms — Local services in Charlotte

Rea Farms has a little bit of everything for everyone. There are plenty of restaurants to dine in or take out at Rea Farms. You have the Imperial Pig for bbq, Salata build your own salad, Margaritas mexican restaurant, Pappa John's, Penn Station for subs, Little Big Burger and my favorite Duckworth grill and tap house(great selection of beers) and a gas station to fill up your car. The grocery store is Harris Teeter, one of the largest HT supermarkets in town. The best thing about it is the hot bar. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also has a pizza station, salad bar, and serves subs. After you pay for your food, you can sit down and have a beer, wine, or any drink of your choice with your meal because this HT has a dining area serving beer or wine. The parking lot is big, so it's easy to find a parking space. There are several ways to get in and out of the parking lot, so it never seems too busy. We really love Rea Farm, the events, the movies and what you offer us throughout the year. Yesterday's event was great, like every year, until what happened. We stood in line to ride the train for quite some time, and my mom, an elderly lady, was with me. She was visiting me for the first time, and my children were very excited to have their grandmother with them. But when it was finally our turn to ride, a lady came to tell us that only one person is allowed to ride with the children. We tried to explain to her, but she refused. We saw that she did this on purpose with us only. All the parents were riding. And that was not enough, but she went to bring the policemen who were present at the event, and my children collapsed from fear and crying. I felt very disappointed and frustrated for the first time ever. I have been touring several events for years, and this has never happened before. You are always friendly and welcoming...

We went here Friday before Thanksgiving and the service was awful We all ordered bbq and it took almost an hour to get our food Not once did the waitress come and say anything about the delay until I asked her.
