So many wonderful things to say about Reid Massage and Allie. The space is beautiful, calm, clean and comfortable. Allie is very knowledgeable on all things Women's Health and was very thorough in my consultation for a Womb Massage. She took great care in making sure that I was comfortable the whole time and in explaining the areas she would work on and what to expect. She and her space felt very safe. I walked out of my appointment feeling informed, relaxed and with homework to support my progress in between sessions. There is parking in the back (access through Commonwealth Ave) with assigned spaces and just a few steps away from her door. There are lot of local shops, restaurants and markets nearby but the building is tucked away just enough to where you don't get any of the bustle (but can easily run some errands or grab some food before or after your session). Her practice is completely exceptional, massage on a whole other level. I have been seeing her for years and feel so lucky to have found such a talented, kind, specialized massage therapist. I have been to Alexandra several times now. After being diagnosed with brain cancer, my body has had several changes. Treatment and movement limitations has caused weight gain and lots of aches and pains. Alexandra has worked with me to improve my quality of life during/post massages and has taught me several at home techniques and remedies to alleviate pain in between appointments. She even traveled to me and and gave me a much needed post surgery massage. Even traveling to my home, Alexandra had a very comfortable table and was able to work with my restrictions post surgery.
