Burial Beer Co. Charlotte Taproom — Restaurant in Charlotte

ABSOLUTELY NEVER WILL COME HERE AGAIN. Terrrible !!! and I do mean terrible management. (PLEASE READ!!!)

Came inside with my laptop as I’m a college kid who wanted to sit down and do some work, first thing I brought in my tea and lemonade I took a box from the food place I had been before. I sat down, I had whom apparently was one of the shift leaders a tall guy with a SUPER nasty attitude Come over and tell me that ” I cannot be here and that I’m taking up space if I don’t buy anything” Threatened to kick me out and told me to leave.

As a young black girl, born and raised in the Queen city this was one of the absolute worst interactions I’ve had yet he was so rude to the point where I was almost scared of him, after he told me to leave, I sat there and ordered my Uber. Mind you this is about 9:30 PM at night. He comes back around while I sit and wait for my Uber and tell me once again that he’s not gonna tell me again to leave and that if I don’t get up, it’s gonna be a problem. The shift leader spoke to me. He literally wanted to punch me in my face.

I told him that I’m a young woman and I don’t want to stand outside in the pitch black dark while I wait for my ride .

HE THEN, and grabbed the food that I bought, and my drink, and threw it away from the to go place that I had been before. And started cursing at himself.

This place is an absolute disaster .

I’m not sure if this guy was racist . But he needs to be fired and please don’t waste your time in this establishment!!! Especially my ladies please be careful if you do, decide...

Came here on Friday lunch time. It wasn't busy so it was very pleasant. The place is very cool and stylish and the bathrooms are very chic in black and gold. They were very clean. They have a outdoor patio and a deck but it was too hot to be outside. They have a good truck outside in the back and we ordered a couple of beers a cheeseburger with truffle fries and a vegan burger with salad and everything was simple yet very good. You have to order everything at the bar and then go get the food when it's ready. We have been drinking Burial beers for years now and we are rarely disappointed but we've never been to a taproom and we were happy with it. Connected to the taproom there is a small store selling their beers, merch, glasses etc... The parking is limited and very narrow so I'm not sure how hard it is to find parking in busier hours. Too bad we don't live here because I saw ourselves becoming regulars. Looking forward to the Burial Beer...

The last time I came here there was no kitchen and dogs weren’t allowed. A friend told us they had gone with their dog recently and so we went back with our dog but picked up some lunch for myself and our son. We got settled and my husband ordered a beer. We are eating and relaxing when a lady comes over tells us they don’t allow outside food. I explained it was an honest mistake (mind you my 4yo is mid bite). She tells us it’s been this way for a long time and doesn’t offer for us to sit on the patio or give us a pass. It was extremely uncomfortable. She glared at us from the bar while we packed our food and left. This has to be the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been at a local business. I am shocked at the lack of understanding and customer service. The correct thing to do would have been to at least tell us while my husband was ordering.
