The only reason I didn't give them a 1 star review was because the furniture is awesome quality. Management needs a makeover. We first placed our order for bedroom furniture on February 14. Only the bed and 1 nightstand were in stock, but our purchase came with the promise of the remainder being delivered in 10 - 12 days. That time came and went, we called them the first week of March and were then told that no, whoever told us 10 - 12 days was mistaken, it would not be any sooner than 1 month. So we waited a couple more weeks, never heard anything, and called back again. We were then told that it was a problem with the manufacturer and there was no way to know when the furniture would be available, it could be months. So we continue to wait patiently for our paid for furniture originally promised in 10 - 12 days. Over the next few weeks we call back and get different responses as to why the furniture was not in from different employees, one time we were even told that well, it was delivered, but the employee that unloaded the truck didn't count everything properly so our furniture was never actually removed from the truck and ended up being sent to a different store. Early May we finally got a phone call that everything was finally going to be delivered so we returned to make an additional purchase - which actually went very well because we only purchased in stock items. However, we spoke with Jack and were told that we never purchased the chest that went with the bedroom set. We found this to be highly strange as we had specifically ordered the entire set, but he told us that he looked at the original invoice and it was not on there, but if we went ahead and purchased it today he would have it delivered by mid-next week. We mistakenly took him at his word and repurchased the chest. Luckily we kept all our original receipts and later noted that we DID purchase the chest initially. My wife approached Jack in the store the next day. She received a great deal of hostility from him and he then told her that he had actually credited us the money for the chest on our second purchase - which completely contradicted what he told us the day before. After several days of calling and emailing both Jack and the corporate office we received a refund for our extra and unnecessary purchase of the $500 chest. To no surprise the chest was not available for delivery or pick up the following week. Last week , the week of July 4th, we finally received a phone call that the chest was ready. We went up there to pick it up and avoid a third delivery charge but unfortunately it did not fit in our vehicle. At that time Jack offered us free next day delivery which we happily accepted. The weekend came and went with no delivery, then finally today after a phone call and more excuses it was delivered, 6 months after our initial date of purchase. As I said the furniture is amazing, but DO NOT BUY OUT OF STOCK ITEMS, and don't trust anything you're told, get it all in writing and look over it very carefully before...
Read moreI would have given 5 stars HOWEVER, the delivery of my couch and mattress was a NIGHTMARE X2. I purchased a living room couch set Saturday and Mattress/Box Spring/Frame and warranty all for delivery on same day. 2 kids show and and the couch would not fit (my fault I measured the outside doorway and not inside doorway. What is NOT my fault is the damage these 2 kids did. I kept telling them to STOP trying to force the 2cd couch in as they were going to damage the house I am renting. The proceeded to keep trying and in the process damaged my floor boards on both sides and neither one apologized. They took back couch and I went back to store to pick out another one. First delivery fee was $75 and I was told upfront by Jack if I had to do a replacement it would be another $50 delivery fee. I explained what happened and Jack assured me that he would get "his best movers on it for Sunday and if the couch still didn't fit, that they would bring the other one too" I thought great! Sunday new crew show up and they measure and my door frame was 29 1/4 and couch was 29 1/2. Told the 2 gentlemen not too even try and put the other couch in b/c obviously it would not fit. They tried anyways EVEN AFTER I ASKED THEM NOT TO, and TORE UP THE DOOR JAM WORSE THAN THE KIDS FROM SATURDAY. After I paid $50 and another tip, I called the store for 3 hours w/ noone picking up phone. After ANOTHER trip to the store, I told Jack what happened w/pictures and video and Jack informed me "this has never happened before" REALLY???? I asked for delivery fee to be reimbursed as i asked the delivery guys to not even try and Jack told me that was not possible as delivery drivers are through another company? REALLY??? I just spent over $1500 and you couldn't give me back $50 so that I could be semi happy as I was going to have to clean up the mess left behind. I asked to file a formal complaint and he told me he would get me email address by Monday., that didn't happen and I literally called over 15 times Monday w/ NO answer on the phone...EVER. I am so disappointed that I am going to have to spend my time, energy and gas to go to the store AGAIN for more runaround. Yes, Jack, was nice UNTIL I came back to file a delivery complaint again even with proof of damage. Buyer beware. Great prices, friendly staff I mean they even let me bring my dog in...but as soon as I had an issue it was different. Pick up and deliver yourself if you can. Now I have to tell my landlord that this happened and ask him to give me the paint to fix...this looks bad and I am just disappointed that the store did not stand behind me, the customer and apologize for their delivery mistake. Read moreThe prices and quality are superb. However the Manager is a joke. The wrong color table was delivered to us. I called when they opened the following day and explained the situation and that it needed to be rectified as my husband was leaving for out of town for a week the following morning; and there would be no way I could put it together myself having 2 small children, much less even lift it. The gentleman we spoke to said we should here from someone soon. I received a call from the warehouse manager shortly after who apologized and said we would here from the manager very soon. Three hours later still no call. No replacement and they closed at 6. I called again and asked for a manager. The manager would not speak with me. I said I would wait as I had waited hours and he had yet to call. The gentleman said he would see what he could do and call me back. Again I waited an hour. Called and the manager would still not speak with me. This entire time all I wanted was my table before my husband went out of town. I understand things happen, that wasn't the issue. The managers' refusal to speak with me, call me back, or rectify the situation was what was infuriating. My husband got on the phone with them insisting to speak with the manager. He would not speak to my husband either. After having to be very persistent he was finally able to speak with the manager, Jack, I believe. Who said there was no way he could get it out today, despite having known about our issue since 1pm. He offered to give us $150 for our troubles. Which we never received. My husband explained it was not about the money. It was about needing our table. The manager finally said he would put it on the truck and we received it that night. Nice furniture but will never return due to poor management and horrid customer service. Will be telling...
