I'm so upset right now. Admittedly this was only a 10$ order, but it was 10$ totally wasted. I'm not much of a fast food person, but coming home late and I was in the car with someone who suggested burger king. So, we go over, and I expect some decent food at least, I mean the place smells like heaven!
First and foremost, we pull around to window one and the design is insane, it's right at the corner, and it's a very tight turn. The cashier quoted me the wrong price when I handed him money so I was a little confused only getting 74 cents back but oh well! He wasn't rude, but he was dismissive. No hello, no nothing, just told me the (wrong) total and moved on.
Okay, hopeful for the second window. Alas, no better. I waited there about a minute then was asked to pull up to wait; the manager was standing there glaring at us. no hello, no how are you, no decorum whatsoever. I did so. I had some music going and figured no problem.
Four minutes go by and another employee who was on a break I assume rounds the corner from outside, passes the car and stops right at the door of the place, starts smoking -- no more than two feet away from the FRONT ENTRANCE, and no more than two feet away from my OPEN WINDOW. I have severe asthma, so this is a huge problem for me. Then he proceeds to BLAST inappropriate music on his phone.
Okay, so I roll up my window and instantly (which makes me think he was doing this very much on purpose) he takes off into the drive-thru drive-way, slams hands against the 1st window and runs off, then comes back to stand and chat with his buddy inside.
Finally almost ten minutes have passed and my food comes out. "Sauce or ketchup with that?" was all that was said, which would have been nice to hear at the window before bringing me my food? Well, never mind I have stuff at home I REALLY just wanted to go home now. No apology for the wait, no have a nice night... Customer service huh? Customer disservice more like it.
Anyway, so we get back. Our order was fairly simple: 10pc chicken and medium fries for my friend, and cheetos chicken fries for me (because i finally wanted to try them!) and a spicy chicken for the kid in the back seat, as well as a caramel sunday.
Where to start? Fries were fine, hard to screw those up. The chicken nuggets weren't great, but by no fault of the place just the recipe itself (but who can complain about 10 nuggets for under 2$). The chicken burger was apparently "okay", but the lettuce was all wilted and the mayo was just globbed on there, which was gross.
My portion, which if you ask me shouldn't be too hard to make, I assume these things come pre-made and flash frozen, only to be thrown into the fryer. Well, they were burnt, dark dark brown, and absolutely wretched to eat. Obviously they hadn't changed the oil in a long while, these things tasted SO horridly.
I'm endlessly annoyed at basically throwing this money away. I was going to pull out my receipt and call them about it, but lo and behold, I hadn't been given one. That part is my own fault, I should have asked. Lesson learned.
I'm not even going to bother calling these clowns. The manager was standing RIGHT there the whole time, and she should have been watching her employees with a little more diligence. I'm going straight to corporate...
Read moreI never have an issue whenever I come here to this location except for this morning when a male manager I believe his name was Shawn (around 7:25am) who took/placed my order, was extremely rude and problematic when I went into the drive through I told him I wanted a #4 breakfast combo with a coffee: 5 creamers and 8 sugars and a 1# sandwich by itself and he repeated back to to me in an ethnic accent, "what do you mean number #1 by itself", in a rude manner and so I explained to him: a number #1 sandwich only with the number 4 meal and coffee with sugar and cream. That concluded the order through the intercom, I then proceeded to approach the drive-through window, and a heavy set black woman then proceeded to do the transaction with me giving me the the coffee first as she was giving me the coffee the lid was not secure on it and it was dripping, in addition to that it was a small coffee.I then explained to her that I wanted a large coffee with cream and sugar, and before I could even tell the lady to modify the order and take the money off my card mr. Shawn or the black guy that is the manager in the morning then proceeded to rudely interject into my conversation with her and I said to him "I wasn't talking to you", you just can't jump into my conversation about what size I wanted while I was talking to the larger (black)woman of whom I was speaking with. As he was speaking to me while she was standing in the window I then repeated back to him that I was talking to her and asking her to change the coffee to a large(she was never rude to me), and I didn't appreciate him trying to accuse me of being the problem when he was the one who was breaking his neck to get to the window and speak to me so he didn't like when I told him to back out of my order/conversation and as a result then told me that I was getting a refund of 11.45 cents while I gave him my debit card he didn't even give me a receipt or anything for the refund and after that it was a conclusion. I come to burger King rarely but when I do an older white manager is there and I never have any problems with him(older white gentlemen),but this was the first time I interacted with the black male manager. He (black manager) was sassy and rude. I do frequent the McDonald's that's adjacent to the burger King sometimes on a daily basis and never have any issues over there and as I previously stated, that when I do come to burger King I've only interacted with the older white male manager or the Asian manager both of whom are polite but the black manager decided he wanted to go south with me so I'm extremely disappointed and angry with him he seems like he uses his position of power as a weapon like a dictator, he is rude tries to jump in conversations he's not involved in and then when his short temper is disrupted pulls out the denial of services move. I'm tired of some of these people(black people in power) always having an attitude at work and taking it out on the customer and when the customer offers a rebuttal and points out their flaws then they resort to "I'm sorry where not going to...

I got there that day ordered 2 whopper with cheese meal on whopper 1 I said No Pickles on whopper 2 I say meat Cheese and Onion only on .. both were made with everything on them .. but b4 we ever got the foot d we were told to pull around front to there double doors ... then upon pulling up and relieving the first time incorrect we noticed 4 other vehicles waiting in there order also so then immediately I started timing the interaction ... waited for 23 minutes for our forst order to come out incorrect so walked it back in let them remake it. Got back out to car then opened and checked b4 being more than ready to eat opened my whopper with cheese and the cheese was missing and I noticed it was the same burger I had sent and gave back into them .. then on second whopper they added meat cheese Onion and Sauce .. so went back in a second time ... then order waited another 15 minutes then it was handed to me a third time but this time correct and Fresh at that point in total have waited 45 minutes . But when initially arriving to make order there was no one else in the drive thru because 4 vehicles were out front already waiting on there order .. however upon getting correct order in I noticed one last detain and that detail was 2 of the 4 cars originally there waiting on there order was Still There!!
