Listen I’m a very relaxed person and this is my first review ever but I’m honestly just very upset about the service I just received. I think I was lied to and purposefully misled to believe this employee was the GM, I find this very disrespectful.

I was told the store policy is to lock the doors and close at 9:55pm instead of 10pm. I arrived at 9:55 as they were locking the door. The “night manager” who claimed to be the “highest manager”, the “General Manager” multiple times told me I couldn’t come in and buy cat food, despite me having an absolute emergency. I explained, I just moved to town, I was having an emergency and he refused to find any way at all to accommodate me. That’s fine, sure, I do apologize for coming so late and I get it you wanna lock up and close, but at least update your hours to say closed at 9:55pm online. Many other stores do this.

I did beg them to just grab me one can and I would give them the cash or my card, please anything to help me feed my cat, I remained very polite, I just found it to have been handled rude, grabbing security to intimidate me and telling me good luck, like cmon, I wasn’t being loud or rude, I was just asking for some honest help. I understand if there’s truly no way to help me I just thought this was handled very poorly, the employee did not “wish” he could help me, I felt like he just wanted to get going.

It was also revealed that despite me clarifying multiple times “are you this stores highest manager”, the employee was not, which it’s just disrespectful to lie to me and insinuate otherwise, knowing exactly what I was asking. I want to clarify with the actual highest general manager if this is “store policy” or not. After pulling teeth he revealed this was not him, I would not be writing this review right now had the employee been more upfront and honest.

The other employee called over and security guard seemed chill, no fault to them, they handled it well and I totally understand them standing by there co-worker, but I do wish someone in the store would’ve at least pretended to want to help us.

Maybe I’m in the wrong, I understand I’m just 1 in a million customers to the employees but dang, what a disappointing experience. I just moved to Chattanooga and I’m definitely very sad this will be my...

I have been trying to get my welcome baby registry kit for a several weeks now.

I went to my local Target to pick up my registry gift as instructed online and was told they rarely had any in stock. I was given a customer service number to call and was told they would send it to me for free. I called the number provided and reached a customer service rep that first told me I had to purchase $35 worth of goods to get the registry welcome kit. I told him I was instructed to call so I wouldn't have to buy the $35 worth of goods since going to the store is supposed to keep registrants from having to do that. Then he changed his message and said I needed to pay $5 to $7 in shipping to have him send me a registry kit. I would just need to upload my card information. They would charge my card and then give me a store credit in that amount. I told him that was not what I was told at the store and then we hung up.

Since then I have tried to do the ship method where I buy $35 from my registry and they would include it with that shipment, but they keep saying it is out of stock. Tonight my app told me 5 welcome registry kits were in stock at another target across town so I decided to go and see if I could get it there. I arrived and the customer service rep said they don't have any and to call the same number as the other store. I told her about the conversation with the rep and she apologized. She tried to give me the typical window the store gets the kits delivered but I work during regular week hours and it would be impossible to come across town to hope that I would snag one of the 5 that might come in. She was really kind but this system is a joke.

If you are going to offer two ways to get something as incentive for registering with target (1. Pick up in store for free OR 2. Order online with purchase of $35 from your registry) and then fail to produce either avenue as viable, WITH MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS... Something is wrong with the system.

I usually love target and I am very surprised with this...

Today I hesitated to go into this store because of past experiences trying to go in and find a certain item or product. Well I had decided to park and I didn’t get out of my car right away. This was because I actually told myself to not ever go into Target again and today I was looking for a gift card to send to a young person that was Graduating from High School. Well I gave Target a try and since I never went to this one before . I was called in And looked straight for gift cards. I was in the front of the store and I didn’t find the one I needed. I asked an employee near the front and heck directed me to the big display. I was surprised to find out how easy it was to find what I needed once I asked for help. I also noticed how clean and organized this store was which really surprised me because I didn’t have good experiences going into target in the past and it’s been like 3 to 5 years now since I’ve been in one to actually purchase something I would avoid them before at all costs and pretend they just burned down because I didn’t wanna think I had to go in there to shop because of my experience of going into a previous target where everybody said oh go to target you’ll love it. I hated that store. I said I’ll never shop there. But now, I might give target another chance because this store totally changed my whole feeling about walking into a target. Thank you very much target for showing me that there is a store you have that is well organized and clean and nice employees helpful and very caring....

I used to love shopping at Target but lately they have fallen short. Todays experience was like going to a thrift store or a flea market. I went in to find a couple of nice outfits for my son but the kids department was in terrible shape, so bad that after 15 minutes I just left without anything. I can't shop in a store that is this cluttered and this doesn't happen in just an hour, this is a couple of days of no one folding and organizing the clothes. This is a management issue. Target used to have some class but they dropped the good men's clothing brands a few years back, and now they manage their stores like Walmart and for the record I will not shop at Walmart. It looks like Target is losing a couple more shoppers to the online markets again.

I had never seen a Target in this bad of shape. Trash overflowing out of garbage cans, hangers on the ground, having to also step over literal trash through the store, merchandise and clothing covering the ground (honestly a tripping hazard waiting to happen), and SEVERAL pallets of boxes around every corner. There was no room to shop, between all of the mess and the people. Target, you need to get some help for this store. I had went a couple of months ago to this location and it was in bad shape back then as well. Pics I took were only a GLIMPSE of what I saw. Unfortunately, save your time and go to another Target location.

They opened up a register and told us to use it- then no one showed up to actually check us out. We then watched as other customers were checked out of the register we were told to leave. No one came and corrected. We finally left the line, which had now people behind us to go back to the other line. The store is in shambles. Clothes are all over the floor. The place looks like a Ross store, which isn’t a compliment. I felt like I was at the flea market with higher prices, and less friendly staff. The only thing missing were dirt floors and churros. I could have used a churro.
