Panera Bread — Restaurant in Chattanooga

This Panera Bread locations is a very popular one, but its age is really starting to show and the location's maintenance is clearly lacking. The building itself is in the older Panera style, which would be fine if it was well-maintained, but instead you have a really difficult parking lot to navigate. With how busy this location is, it seems to be very difficult for them to handle the breakfast and lunchtime rushes. The line is one of the smallest I've seen at a Panera location, and the dining area is large but awkward - it's very hard to find a comfortable table here. What's worse is this location is very slow, especially during peak hours like breakfast and lunch. Even pickup orders are never completed on-time, so what you end up having to do is adjust your pickup time based on how long you think it will take for your order to be ready, rather than the "Promise Time" that you pick at checkout. I understand that some of these issues may be beyond the control of this particular location, but they're a lot of the reasons I don't come to this location anymore. For the amount of money that Panera is charging, you really would think that these are issues that you wouldn't have to put up with. The food is good at best, but by the time you get to it, you've already got a bad taste in your mouth from the frustrating...

Panera I have always loved .When I lived in Hendersonville I never ever had an issue with a single thing . If I ordered DoorDash, came in , OR EVEN ORDERED OVER THE PHONE !!!! They would let me come in and pay cash for it . Like what kinda of place are you that doesn’t allow that?? “Just wanna promote the app” oh okay . Yeah screw your regulars . Who literally come here 2-3 times A WEEK!! Hendersonville, they were always there and showed that customer service aspect . Here? In Chattanooga? Oh right here at this location they suck. They don’t care . Don’t care that hey all I have is cash, just worked 65 hours this is just all I have is cash. (I’m a server) “oh no we don’t allow that, have to do it through our app” really? Well guess what?? Yes I still wanted your food , came in. Got a Togo order. And paid IN CASH! OMFG ! Imagine that!!! Ya pissed me off . Now I don’t think Panera will be my easy go to anymore . Now I just think this location just sucks. At least Hendersonville knew what they were doing . They actually cared. Guess it’s true about chatt. Everyone here just sucks and doesn’t care . We eat at Panera at least once a week. Yesterday we were in East Brainerd visiting with several people that were on walkers, so i suggested that I go to Panera on Gunbarrel and pick up lunch for everyone. I will have to say that i was embarrassed to death. Not one thing we got was even eatable! All three of the salads had greenery in it that we didnt even recognize! If you got it in you mouth, you had to take it out, we couldnt chew it. Three people got the Pasta, an it was so dry. I have gotten better from the frozen section at the grocery store. I dont know what happened. Like i said, we eat at the on at Northgate at least once a week. We love it. I dont know if you have changed the lettuce since you went Organic or what. I tried to find phone numbers to call to speak to someone about this experience, but cant do that anymore. I felt like management should know this so it can be corrected. I have never left a comment for anything in my life, and im 74 years old. Just felt like i would be doing...
