The best in Chattanooga period! Becca and Steve are amazing! There was an error ordering my suit but Steve got on the phone with every MW store in the country until he found one in stock and had it overnighted to the Chatt store. I even told him and the manager it wasnāt a big deal and I could just pick another blue suit they had in store. They both said no they would find the one I want and get it here. What! Ok then. Becca (I hope Iām getting the name right) was there when I came to pick up the suit. She was personable and a pleasure to work with. She does alterations as well and had me try on the suit and she hemmed up the legs about an inch. She had all this done in plenty of time for my event. She even removed stitching from the coat tails and cut off the arm labels, tags, etc (I hate cutting all that off a new suit) and wrapped the suit in plastic for me. She has an 18 year old son. How do I know this? Iām just a random customer but I know this because I was treated like a human with casual conversation and I feel like I know these people now. That is service and time well spent with each customer to make sure you are taken care of. While Iām aware everyoneās experience varies by day and employee, I can tell you everyone I worked with was incredible. Itās important to keep in mind as you read other negative reviews that Mens Warehouse and Jos A Bank almost went out of business completely during the height of Covid. People were working from home and demand for formal attire hit rock bottom. I donāt say this so you will have sympathy on them as they arenāt a mom and pop joint but Iām sure it took a hit on production, turn around time, and staffing. Now they are slammed with people returning to work, prom season, wedding season, formal events, etc and Iām almost certain most of the staff is likely new learning as quickly as they can to meet our needs. I heard a lady complaining to the manager over a high school prom tux that her son in her words ālooked horrible in and cost more than it used toā Seriously!! Try it on before you leave. It doesnāt look good tell them, and yes everything cost more right now. The manger handled the upset lady with professionalism and while Iām sure nothing would have made her happy he did the best he could and moved on to the next waiting customer like he just didnāt get blasted for the last 20 mins. Iām just grateful they were able to figure out a way to stay in business. Just be kind, have some patience, and plan ahead. I only gave them 2 weeks to get my suit ordered and tailored. Truth be told I should have came earlier. Thatās on me, not them. This store really does try and do everything they can to make your experience great. They want to make you look good if youāll take the time to let them. If you read this far hopefully you will stop in and see Steve or Becca. Look around, hang out, itās worth it when your turn comes up you will get their full undivided attention. Iāll be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot super impressed with service. Had to wait approx. 30 minutes for someone to come over to us. After we got help which was nice we decided that we had to order a jacket. We also decided that the pants and jacket would need to be altered. The salesperson said to go over by the mirrors and the tailor lady would come over and take measurements. I had a different jacket on (for sizing) and asked āshould I keep this jacket on?ā Salesmen said yes. When the tailor lady came and started measuring the pants then the jacket I commented that this is not the jacket Iām buying. She rudely threw her hands up in the air and said āWell we need the right jacket!ā Of course we did, Iām not the one who said to keep it on. The salesperson should have told her or she should have asked. I, the customer had to tell her. And I wouldnāt have minded as much if she hadnāt thrown an attitude at me. We purchased the suit, shirt, tie, expedited shipping on jacket and tailoring and left with a content smile. We got a call a week later that the jacket was in and I need to come in and get it fitted. Well⦠when I came in a salesperson asked why I was there, I said to get my jacket fitted that just arrived. He stood there for a second and then told me their tailor was in a car accident and getting it tailored may be an issue. Anyways another salesperson came over Pam (itās map backwards cause sheāll help you find whatever youāre looking for (awesome lady, and maybe the only reason I may ever go back) and helped me and tried to calm me down as I was in a hurry and there was only one other customer in the store that decided this was the day he was going to be there all day (the manager of the store needed to help me and she was currently helping him, not sure why she couldnāt let some other salesperson help him since all they were doing was checking out). They told me that the tailor had broken her neck but sheād be in and have my suit tailored in a week. I said ok and left. Received a call on day scheduled to be picked up that it was ready. Went in and Pam went to get my suit. Short time later she came out followed by the tailor lady. Pam said Iām sorry itās not ready. The tailor lady followed up (with her neck brace on) again very rudely and said āI HAVE A BROKEN NECK, THEY SHOULDNT HAVE TOLD YOU IT WOULD READY BUT I CAN GET IT DONE BY TOMORROW. I HAVE A BROKEN NECK!ā I said ok and left. Anyways I have my suit finally. Got it home. Went to try it on and my toe got stuck in the tailored hem of my pants. Wife had to tailor the tailoring. Not impressed on the customer/salesperson interaction, tailoring quality, attitude of the tailor and the fact that a place that sells suits (which most likely will need to be tailored) has...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately, if there was a -1 option I would select it. Myself and son came in so excited to look for prom attire. We asked one employee if he could assist us, he quickly directed us to the other side of the room and told us to sign in then they would get with us .. okay no issue there. We did just that . After they located the form for us to sign in on we were told it would be about 15 minutes. So we waited and watched several people get assistance, including people who came in after us and never signed in. I finally asked a guy (who was standing at the cash register trying his best not to make eye contact with us) if he could help us, since he's not helping anyone else? He quickly said ummm well, I was sorta busy . Myself and the other customers just looked at him like "busy doing what"? He then slowly walked over to us with a very arrogant attitude speaking so low we literally heard half of what he said . This place has the WORST customer service I've ever seen. As we politely, thanked him and left, my 17 year old son asked me why was the guy and staff acting so weird towards us? Is it because we are Black? We then went to DXL which the staff member advised us to try, (basically sent us to another store). Since my kid is 5'9 160 pounds and this place is for Big and Tall, DXL couldn't help us. They were so polite and asked where had we been to in the area, we told them of our experience with Men's Wearhouse across the street, they informed us that they have been hearing alot of complaints here recently about Men's wearhouse staff!!! We will never step foot into a store like this again. Im not begging anyone to take my hard earned money. The staff at 5pm on Friday 3/11/2022 all need to be replaced.. I'm very connected to several high schools in the area. I'm going to be sure to advise the students and staff of our experience with this place! No one needs to experience this during such an exciting time in their life. To many other places to choose from in town. Completely...
