The Quincy — Restaurant in Chehalis

I reserved The Quincy for the rehearsal dinner the night before my son’s wedding and it turned out fabulous in every way. Wonderful historic location and a classy feel. Shelby took the initiative to call me about 3 weeks in advance to firm up details, and we exchanged several emails following the phone call. She totally understood the assignment and provided great guidance and advice! They custom printed menus with the Bride and Groom’s names and wedding colors at no extra cost—a swoon-worthy surprise for them! Her communication was very clear and she followed thru on EVERY discussion. The food was hot and GOOD, the drinks excellent, the salads crisp and the desserts were YUMMY. Because of Shelby’s great communication, our expectations were exceeded! Service was also fabulous! Our crowd of 20+ was full of compliments! This has nothing to do with the food, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of accommodation here. We booked reservations online for 8pm which allowed us to. It wasn't until we arrived that they informed us they had cancelled our reservations because they originally accepted us to be placed at the bar but didn't know we bought a baby with us.

We had been notified at 7:58 PM by phone/cancelled email but at that time we had already arrived by 8pm. So as you can see even if we had checked our notification, it's too late now. If they would've just not allowed an 8pm reservation on the site this all would've been avoided, or be accommodate us to quickly dine in since we were the only customers especially for our troubles and the misunderstanding over reservations, it would've been more kind of them.

In the future, notify sooner or take down the option of taking in customers at 8pm. Or just be kindly accommodating to customers who went through some...

This restaurant has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. Every time I go, the food is consistently amazing, flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The drinks are equally impressive, well-balanced, creative, and always spot on.

The atmosphere is just what you want for a night out. Fun, welcoming, and full of good energy without being overwhelming. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a celebration, it just feels good to be there.

And I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about your experience. A special shout-out to Kylene and Kyuss, who go above and beyond every single time. Kylene is warm, professional, and has a way of making you feel like you’re the most important guest in the room. Kyuss is one of the chefs and the food is always perfection when he’s working.
