Town Center Liquor & Wine — Local services in Chehalis

We went in looking for top shelf tequila and, although the man that worked there was kind, the woman was not very friendly. She didn’t seem to be a fan of us inquiring about the tequila they have to get on a ladder to get down. She even quoted the tequila high to discourage us from wanting to buy it. I’m not sure what they are really selling don julio 1942 for but she quoted us over $300 and I can get the same bottle at total wine for $160. Then she quoted us over $250 for the dinastia real and when we decided that was the one we were going to buy she was displeased that they actually had to get on the ladder to pull it down. When we checked out at the register the price on that tequila was $149! She really didn’t want to sell us tequila apparently. I won’t be going back to that store ever! I only gave 2 stars because her co-worker was kind even though he had little knowledge of the top...

Well the store was okay but pretty spendy it was the only place to go to find what I needed. I was looking for a small bottle of creme de cocoa and creme de menthe for a dessert. It cost me something like 48.00 for the two bottles I realize it's not necessarily the store's fault it all has to do with the state and they're crazy insane taxes for liquor. No wonder people are going out of state to purchase. When I came home I realized I already had a bottle of creme de coco and called and asked the store if I could return it unopened of course with my receipt and the answer was no. I'm sure it has something to do with the state what stores don't take returns? won't be shopping here again either prefer to buy my alcohol...

Good selection, terrible prices. They are 50% or more expensive on many items than other stores. For example, Reyka Vodka: I was going to grab a bottle here to review for Influenster, but they are $31 plus tax. Total Wine is only $20 plus tax, Target is $22 plus tax. Influenster is only offering me $10 back (half the price a bottle is supposed to be), so rather than pay the massive mark up here, I'm going to pass on reviewing it.

I've noticed this on other bottles as well, like a Japanese whiskey they are charging almost twice as much for as Shop n' Kart. The people are nice, but I won't be wasting my time (and money) shopping here...
