My fiancee and I walked into the store with the hopes of renting tuxedos for myself and my groomsmen. We didn't believe that we would be in need of assistance as we were mainly just interested in finding some looks and learning about the rental packages available.
After about 15 minutes, an associate asked if we needed help finding something and she took us over to the tuxedos. She showed us 1 jacket which we did not particularly think would work, after which, she seemed perterbed and brought us over to a selection of suits. She immediately left to kindly attend and address other guests.
So we spent the next hour or so moving through the racks, trying combinations of ties, shirts, and jackets. We then sought her out to ask if we were allowed to try on the pants. She again seemed bothered, but obliged. We were very happy with our selection and went back to find her so that we could ask about rental packages and possibly set up a future appointment. "Oh, yeah you can't rent those, all of our rentals are over there." We were a little peaved that she didn't tell us that when we asked the first time and gave us a wishy-washy answer about the cost.
She proceeded to pull out 3 more jackets that she could've shown us an hour prior. I tried on one jacket and then my fiancee asked if we could see one of the others. The associate stood there and avoided eye contact. My fiancee asked again politely if we could take a look at the lighter-colored jacket. The associate stood there again and didn't respond until I repeated the request. She then rolled her eyes, sighed, and got us the jacket.
This was the first place we looked and thought we had found what we needed, but the associate who wasn't even kind enough to introduce herself bothered us so much that we left and went elsewhere. Had there not been another associate kindly helping another happy couple, I would've told her off. He and they seemed happy and well-attended. I wish we had that kind of...
Read moreI came to this Men's Warehouse from Philadelphia due to it's convenience. I probably should have just taken my chances trying to find street parking in Philly. Let me just state that I waited a few days to think this review over and it's still the same. The customer service here was absolutely terrible. I came in ready to secure rentals for 10+ people for a wedding party. When it came time to find out my options for what style of tuxedo to choose the sales rep seemed to have no knowledge of the products.
The reasonable thing to do is give her the benefit and ask questions about colors/options. Let me just say I like to think i'm a pretty patient guy and if it weren't for me crossing over the bridge specifically with the intention of setting up rentals I would have walked out of the store never to return. The sales representative clapped her hands at me and even raised her voice to the point what seemed to me like yelling. I don't care if I ask the same question 100 times, as a sales representative of what I thought was a highly regarded company, you should answer me 100 times with a smile on your face.
Lets get passed the fact she did not know her products. Next when it came down to ordering, she did not even remember what I had decided on. Thankfully what seemed to be a superior came over to assist. This is by far the WORST experience i've ever had with a retail company. Let me emphasize THE WORST. I left the store with the absolute worst taste in my mouth.
If you're looking for great customer service with rentals DO...
Read moreSo I just stopped by this men’s warehouse on rt 70 in cherry hill. A very brief visit…I just got into town after a long day at work in dc, drive into town to pick up my kids and I needed to get an outfit for an upcoming wedding. Now before I go any further, I have shopped at men’s warehouse on several occasions and have always had an excellent experience. Today in particular I didn’t necessarily look the part of shopping there but I wanted to get the outfit to get it out the way to not wait last minute. I went in, I could see a male and female employee talking so I proceeded to look at a few things close by. I had expected to be greeted as I was going to ask for a little help as I hadn’t shopped for dress clothes in a while. But I have to be honest, I wasn’t expecting a red carpet just a little assistance but I felt that on all of my other encounters getting help was never an issue. It’s 2024, I really hate that “issues” exist with the color of my skin, the clothes I am wearing etc. but I couldn’t help feel like I was not a “priority customer”. I will never step foot in another Men’s Warehouse after this encounter. Sad part is I do like the quality of clothes but I refuse to spend my hard earned money at a place that I am not welcomed or should I say feel welcomed. I’m only one customer so I get it but it’s an uneasy feeling that happens all too often but goes unspoken on the right platform. Being a 10 year disabled veteran, I still take these encounters...
