I purchased (27) backer boards and (20) Calcatta 24"x24" tiles. Same time, same order, on home depot app. $79 delivery fee. Delivery Truck shows up early and drops off a pallet in my driveway with hardie backer on it only. I ask the driver, "is another pallet with the tiles I ordered?"."No", he replied. "There is nothing else for you on the truck." I say."I am supposed to have a delivery of tiles as well which is said in the email as being delivered together with the backer board, are they sending a second delivery?","I don't know. I was told they didn't have it so they'll probably deliver it later on". I tell him that I haven't received any texts or emails regarding this. He doesn't know. So I wait. I decide to chat with ai support, waste, so then I call Cherry Hill and after being put hold I am told that there are no more tiles, they are at a minus 56 deficit and that she checked and no other home depot stores in the area has them and that they don't know when the next shipment is coming in so they have to cancel the order and refund the money. A few hours later I get a call and they said they want to ship my order. I say you canceled my order because you have no tiles to fill my order. She says I know but we want to know if you want the order we can fill it because they found the tiles hidden or something to that excuse. As I needed those tiles so that the contractors can finish the work I say yes I'll take the order. She then says, and we'll give you ship it to you free for the inconvenience? So two things seem shady here. #1 the delivery driver marked both items as delivered even after he took a picture of only backer board and explained that there was to tiles. Then the CSR says they'll ship their mistake to me free...but my $79 already covered the delivery. I haven't received anything for that! So HD CH has finally gone to "you know where".

One of the top 3 worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I did a Bopis order for several small items that were said to be in stock. I received a phone call for a cancellation of two of the items, but the Bopis associate on the other end just kept on saying “Hello”. I asked if I could help them since I did not know the number. He called back several other times and would only say hello. Nothing more. Eventually, I received a voicemail from someone else to call back about my order. I called back and this picture shows how long I was on hold for. The wait time is absolutely absurd and there no call for waiting this long to talk to a person. As you can see, I waited nearly 45 minutes to speak to a person. When I finally did, the girl on the other line was very good, but I will not be picking up my items. For all I care, they can sit there and rot because I know if I go there, I’ll rot waiting to get my stuff. I went elsewhere for myself. I expected better from Home Depot and not Walmart service. I hope the manager sees this and corrects this for other people who order from there. I won’t be ordering from this one next time.

Great Place for Quartz Countertop The kitchen design team was very helpful--shout out to Margarita. We purchased a kitchen countertop for an apartment renovation using the existing cabinets. Margarita worked with us to select the right product for the best value. We were very pleased. After ordering at the store, the process went smoothly. Home Depot used Intelco for the measurement and installation. About a week after the measurement, the countertop was installed. After the countertop was installed, another measurement was taken for the backsplash. Again, about a week later the backsplash was installed. Very pleased with the outcome. Intelco and Home Depot's kitchen designers were very communicative--no problems. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience and still unresolved 30+ days in. Ordered new appliance at end of November. They delivered the wrong one. I was told to use the wrong appliance and reschedule replacement delivery. Did that. Upon the rescheduled appliance delivery, I was told that the wrongly delivered appliance was incorrectly installed by previous team and that we needed to hire a plumber to install the anchoring device because they (Home Depot contractors) could not drill into tile.

Fine. We brought in plumber ASAP and rescheduled the 3rd delivery to 12/28. I sat at home all day waiting for the delivery on 12/28 (no time window provided) and connecting with various customer service reps to figure out the status. At 3:28 pm I was told by customer service rep that they were on the phone with the local store but there were phone problems and she was disconnected from the store multiple times. She said that she was able to confirm that the appliance was on truck for delivery (and gave me the truck #) but said she (the Home Depot customer service rep) didn't get estimated time from delivery team because she kept getting disconnected. I was told to call back in 30 minutes til phone issues were fixed, which I did as instructed, and re-explained the situation for the umpteenth time to a new person. He told me that the delivery needed to be rescheduled for 2 days later since there was a note at 3:28 pm that "customer was not on route" or something to that effect. I repeatedly asked the rep to explain what that meant, considering I rescheduled the delivery 10 days prior - how could I not be on the route? I confirmed that I had been present and waiting since 9 am (it is now 4:30 pm).

The kicker is that my niece and nephew are visiting this week from across the country and staying with Grandpa and Nana. I told family that I would come as soon as the delivery was finished. Which didn't end up happening - so I wasted an entire day away from family that I see, at most, twice a year. For nothing but a 3rd failed delivery attempt and feeling jerked around like an idiot.

Since my order on November 25, I still have an incorrectly delivered and incorrectly installed gas appliance. Third time is not the charm. I was told I would be compensated for the inconvenience (no follow up to date) but (a) money doesn't make up for time with family and (b) if that means store credit - no thank you.

I rarely use online reviews and, yes, I wrote a short novel here. I don't expect that this store or corporation is going to do anything to fix the issues because they simply don't care - I can see they don't respond to negative reviews. I could hear that the customer service reps genuinely had their hands tied and had no useful information at their disposal, to no fault of their own.

But I'm beyond frustrated so I want to warn customers away from Home Depot appliance...

So I went in for a dimmer for my chandelier in my dining room. I walk down an aisle where a guy was closing up for whatever reason. I hear him say to a woman standing there, "Are you gonna need to come down any further"? He sounded annoyed as she replied that she didn't think so. I interrupted asking where I could find dimmer switches. He said next aisle over bay 2. I was confused because I didn't understand the direction of bay 2. So I said I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by bay. ( Why would I? I don't work for home Depot). He is way annoyed as he points to a little circle on the shelf and says, "that's a bay, see the sign? On the next aisle over". So I walk over. There they are. As I look at the many dimmers offered I become more confused. I'm not educated in this area. I never had to learn. My mistake I guess. So I'm reading about compatibility etc... Decide to grab what I believe to be a good fit for me and head to customer service. Silly me thinking I could actually get service. The young woman there was nice enough as she laughed at my question and mumbled how she would have to call someone in electrical. She dies and in a few minutes HE appeared. He walked roght past us, I was the only customer at the desk. When he asked the others and they said they didn't call for him, he was walking away when I said, I needed help. His name is Robert from what the young lady called him. She told him I hadn't incandescent bulbs on a dining room chandelier and wanted to know if this was the right dimmer. He looked at it and read what it said on the package to me. He was very condesending. That wasn't my question. I said that to him and he was getting more annoyed. I then stated that I read something saying 150 watts and my bulbs we're 20. He snapped, 'thats maximum". His body language was arms crossed over his chest. I looked him in the eyes and said, "I can read. But it did not read maximum". With that he reached for the package in my hand. Was he really going to look for it ? Did he really want to school me instead of help me? I pulled my hand back and said,"I can read. It appears that you are being bothered and that is annoying to me". He stated he was not. When I mentioned his body language, he uncrossed his arms and put them both on his hips. Was this guy for real? I said, "you are nit helpful" as I walked away he said he was trying to help me. If that's help, I don't want it. Home Depot cherry Hill, you've lost...
