3/6/20:OK so allow me to start by first saying this is not about race. This could have easily been taken that way however I am a very conscious person and aware of my surroundings.
This dinner was for my spouses birthday,it was a BYOB which was fine,I even scheduled a reservation as being considerate of the volume, and capacity standards due the covid restrictions (I considerate). This is the worse and I literally mean the worse customer service and experience everything. The manager Kay sat us at a table, never asked if we requested a hibachi table at all just gave us a booth. We sat down the waitress came right over and asked us for our beverage order,we gave it and she left and came back 5 minutes later with our cups of ice, that was fine. That was the last time we saw our waitress she didn't not come back tomorrow table for 20 minutes,we provided our appetizer order and she left and did not come back for another 25 minutes. We literally watched her provide new customers food, drinks and straight ignored us,I put my hand up afterwards attempting to get her attention, she just kept moving. She finally stopped over and allowed us to order dinner. We waited after that about another 20 minutes out of the 2 of us he is quiet,I literally was flabbergasted and I stopped even attempting to get anyone's attention,he finally had to get boisterous and ask another waitress that happened at the cash register for assistance with getting our dinner. She came over very fast was polite, went and retrieved our dinner and then here comes out missing in action waitress, like she actually handed us our food asking if we needed anything else and gave use extra chopsticks because I dropped one.Now mind you throughout this entire time we literally watched her go from customer to customer old and new but the newer customers received their food before we did,so we were totally confused. We ate and during this time the other waitress asked us if we needed anything else,we said no at the time and no one came back over for another 20 minutes,so we decided its time to go,he was not happy at all with the service and when I don't talk and he talks there is a problem,he immediately went into action and flagged down the 2nd waitress, she came over we advised her we would like the check she brought it over and then the first waitress walks back over as if she did her job all night,we sat and waited for another 20 minutes for to come get the check,at this point my spouse got up and went to the front desk to ask for assistance and to complain, the manager Kay OMG HE IS EVEN WORSE,HE JUST TURNED AROUND AND LEFT! I said what just happened here, this did not just happen,it totally did!I am a really big tiper why because I do customer service for a living as a part of my daily employment and I was just really disgusted! We both were and he is the less talkative one.The manager walked away and my spouse took the check to the front desk to pay.We were attempting to get the 2nd waitresses info because we only wanted to too her,but she was scared. On the receipt I wrote I am a google reviewer with over 100,000 views and comments,at that time .......that was the ONLY TIME THIS WAITRESS ACKNOWLEDGED US,IT WAS WHEN WE WERE AT THE DOOR HEADING OUT WHEN WE WETR WAITING FOR HER TO RETURN MY CC.SHE HAS THE NERVE TO THEN ASK ME WHAT WAS WRONG,MY SPOUSE ALMOST FLEW OFF THE HANDLE,HE LITERALLY LOOKED AT HER AND SAID OH NOW YOU CARE,EVERYTHING WAS WRONG,THIS WAS MY BIRTHDAY DINNER! I would've took the drive to Sakura instead !!!!!! The 1 star is because the food was actually good but not better than sakura! Or the closed down Teppanyaki grill in clementon Nj. I actually left and went to wawa and the associate there was so nice,I was so upset I needed coffee, the cinnamon bun flavored was closed so I turned around and didn't even bother to ask (because of the night I had with Kabuki) if there was more in the back, this young man said hold on mam we may have some in the back I was sooo irritated,I didn't even care but went the extra mile on his own and brewed me the...
Read moreTook my cousin for her 65th birthday to Kabuki, as this would have been her first experience at a hibachi, we had a reservation for 5pm, the show was next to nothing, the chef started throwing cut up zucchini without even telling us while we were talking, he cooked and that’s it, food was good. We were all almost thru our dinner, my cousin who must eat slow for disorder, was still eating a lot of her dinner, the girl handed me the check without asking us if we wanted any dessert, thankfully I brought our own brownies to at least sing to our cousins, a manager came over and said we have to leave, that people are waiting for the hibachi, now what upset me was my cousin still was litterly eating her dinner which I told him no that we were still not finished and why do we have to leave when the hibachi across from us people where done for at least 15-20 min and No one said a word to them, we were handed to go containers and said we had to go, To say the least I was embarrassed and upset to think this was the very first time for my cousin experience of what a hibachi is, and rushed to get up when others were able to sit! Not fair and unprofessional, I did mention to the gentleman why he would be so rude, to rush us we had a reservation for a birthday and was asked to leave without even our guest to finish, I was told there was a long line and you only have a amount of time to sit at hibachi, well our reservation was 5 pm we were in my car. Which was alittle ways away parked in lot and my husband walk with a walker which means takes more time, in our car by 5:45. Absolutely rediculous, this. Was uncalled for and sooo disappointed, this gentleman was rude, I tipped waitress 20 percent never thanked us, soo...
Read moreI literally had the worst experience at this place today. Me and my coworker came here after work and we wanted our own table. The lady with the staring problem told us we have to sit with people that we didn’t even know because the chef was going to be at one table. Ok cool the whole time we were eating and by the way the food was very good but the lady with the staring problem kept looking at us the whole time we were sitting down eating. She said something to our waiter then the waiter came over and asked us did we want a to go box and I looked at my coworker like is she talking to you because I’m clearly still eating. Like why are you rushing me to leave. Then the other people that was sitting at the table with us said why she keep staring at us so at this point I said something. Her excuse was that is where she supposed to stand ok but you don’t have to keep looking at us. It was very disrespectful and of course I said something to the manager and of course he had the dumb look on his face and didn’t even apologize for her smart mouth or nothing. They are rude point blank period and kept talking in their language and I knew they was talking about us because they kept looking at us. I was scared to go the darn bathroom because i thought somebody was going to come in there and chop me up with their hibachi knives and serve me on the table. I will never in my life step foot in that place again. EVER i never been to a restaurant where somebody just stares at you the whole time your...
