I had stopped shopping at this location some time ago due to customer service issues. I decided to go into the store today. As usual, the store decor was inviting, as well as the atmosphere, and there was a 50% off sale for artwork. I wanted to pay for my items in cash, but ended up using my card because neither of the employees who identified themselves as store managers knew whether or not they had enough cash in the drawer to give me change.
Because I have never seen any signs in this store that would suggest they only accept cards, I politely suggested to the cashier/store manager that she may want to ensure there is money in thr drawer for customers who want to pay with cash. Well, why did I do that? I received the most nasty, disrespectful and funky attitude and responses back from that individual.
I was then referred to the other store manager who acted like my concern was overreaching. Though she did apologize, what would have been ever better was offering a solution; if not for me, then for customers who may want to pay with cash after me.
I think it is utterly ridiculous to not be able to use the form of tender you choose, and to then have to be met with disrespect and...
Read moreUsually employees are super friendly but not today. My daughter and I were asked if we were in line to check out because we were standing at the counter. We were told by Jordan to go to the place to stand in about 20 ft back and on the side. So we did only to find out No one was in line at all so I went to the counter again. The associate Jordan mumbled a few things at me and I told him I couldn't hear him only to be told to wait for the prompt to put my credit card in the machine. I joked about the distance from the start of the line to the counter...he didn't respond. Anyway he said nothing else, held my receipt out for me to take, I asked if I could have a bag. He put my stuff in the bag on the counter for me to pick up, said nothing. I said thank you twice. Again he said nothing. Very, very rude from the start. I don't think he...
Read moreA friend and I stopped by Kirklands last week to do some holiday shopping. Upon entering the store the perfume smell was so strong we both immediately had trouble breathing. We went deeper in to the store hoping it was just that area, but the smell became even stronger. We immediately left the store, tho I did stop at the register to let an employee know of the problem. She told me to have a good night... VERY RUDE response! Both my friend and I commented numerous times over the next hour or so, to each other, how much the smell had permeated our clothing in less than 5 minutes in the store. We had to put the windows down in the car for about 10 minutes so we could even breath!! Totally unacceptable. Many people are allergic to perfumes and that was so very strong even people who aren't allergic would have a problem in...
