HOME GOODS HAPPY? Not so in Chester the other day. Was returning a glass bathroom tray which I paid $14.99 for and didnt have my receipt. When trying to remove the HG price tag from the bottom of the tray, I scratched the brownish tint of the glass. The tag was destroyed in the process because I was using hot water to loosen the glue. I approached the manager Joelle, with the exact tray, and expected a simple swap. She argued with me that without either the receipt or the tag there was nothing she could do. I was appaulled!!! Knowing from prior Home Good experience as a card carrying key holder and front end coordinator knew that not to be policy. First priority for TJX companies is to ensure customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. Joelle's ending comment was that their policy has change, before she turned and walked away. I should have done the same but ultimately proceeded to buy the other items I selected as I packed up the damage tray and left. NOT HOME...
