I purchased a party for my daughter's 10th birthday and it was the absolute worst experience I've ever had booking a party anywhere. 1. Checking in was chaos. When I lady told me to get out of the party line and she would help me on the other side, while in new line, a kid snapped at me saying I was in the wrong line and needed to get back in the other line. When I explained, he rolled eyes and said well she can help you. 2. They had no idea where our party was at and just pointed in a general direction to a table. Our guests were told different tables and were not welcomed either. 3. Even though the instructions clearly state that we are to arrive early and 20minutes early -- we were explained rudely that we were too early (10min early) and we can't go over to table until 1:30p when party starts. 4. We headed in pointed direction anyways since we were carrying a lot of stuff and needed to set it down. The "tables" were still covered and the floor area was very sticky. 5. The time is now 1:40p and no one has welcomed us, told us the run down, or cleaned off table 7 for us to take over. I finally find a staff member who says they will find someone. 6. A staff members comes over and starts throwing away stuff from the dirty table. and then starts spraying the cheap plastic, nonresuable table cloth that is COVERED in gunk and wiping it down. When I explain I do not want that used for these children -- they need a clean one Dalton pauses to ask someone what to do. So they do not use that disgusting table cloth, I pull them up and toss in trashcan. I explain they need a new one and Dalton with heavy attitude tells me I threw it away. Again, I remind him how disgusting it was and he said "That's why I was cleaning it off." Again, heavy attitude. I ask him to please call manager over -- and again, attitude of "Oh I've already done so." 7. Bring in manager who provides an insincere apology and then tells me Dalton is just having a bad day so I needed to understand he's stressed. 8. Other than that ... not much in help / assistance with party or checking out. And cherry on top, no lighter for candle to blow out after singing happy birthday. Absolutely horrible customer service and filthy floor, tables, restrooms -- but all that said, the manager did eventually start mopping after almost hour into party, concept is great and kids had fun. However, my family will NEVER come here again.

I had my daughters birthday party at Slick City and I have to say we are very disappointed in the outcome. For start we arrived at 1:15 like we were told and was told where our table was ready. At 1:45 I asked a young lady who was setting another table up where our host was and she didn't seem to care or do anything about it. Then when our friend arrived at 2PM I went to the counter with her to get her socks and I asked Reece (who seemed helpful through email but was not in person) where our host was because we hadn't been greeted by her. Mind you my party time was 1:30PM. The kids played for that time frame. At 2:30 our host (I think her name was Chasity) finally came to us asking us when we wanted the pizzas. My husband told her 3. The pizzas did arrive on time, but she asked my husband if we wanted her to serve the kids and he said yes... She served one kid then walked away. My husband and I ended up serving our own guests. Isn't that her job/position? We also were missing one of our soda pitchers. Then, AFTER the kids were done eating, she asked what flavor icees we wanted and I told her. Time went on and she handed me the bill, I said we haven't received our icees and then asked me AGAIN what kind of icees we wanted after she wrote it down. Next we had to initiate singing happy birthday and cutting our own cake slices. At the end we were in the middle of eating our cake and she came up to me saying that there was another party at 4 and pretty much saying we needed to pack up and leave. We were there for an hour after and there wasn't a party at our table. We felt really rushed. They almost forgot our party favors and ice cream. There was a napkin container empty when we arrived. Thank god we came prepared and brought napkins and forks because we weren't offered them. I paid a lot of money for this party so that I didn't have to serve any one and to have a host. Also I forgot to mention that when I was up at the counter with my friend there was another lady trying to pay. Someone asked the customer who her host was and she had no idea and said it was very annoying. The only thing nice I can say is that the kids had fun sliding. We've paid for plenty of other places that have hosts and we have never experienced anything like this for way cheaper. They seemed really short staffed, which I feel for them. But maybe you shouldn't have so many parties at one. Save your money! Also forgot to mention that I emailed Reece the Monday after the party with...

Very fun, but still working out the kinks.

Only been open about a month or so, we booked our 10-person birthday party the first day they took reservations. Booking was easy/simple and I liked the flexibility of the packages (e.g. you can bring your own cake & decorations and no requirements to buy their food). When we arrived at 2:45, it was chaos. Not enough employees to handle the sheer volume of humans. Not enough people dedicated to party check in. It took us over a half hour to check in which meant the 2 hour party I paid for was 1.5 hours. Never got a communication about needing to sign waivers in advance, so that cut into more of our time and the system was glitchy so it wasn’t working. Finally the manager got involved and got our party going. The space itself and the activities are incredible and fun. Our group of boys (ages 6-8) had an absolute blast. The kids working the slides looked exhausted and overwhelmed and in some cases there was only one teenager trying to keep their eyes and maintain order on three slides.Thankfully most people & kids were being mindful of the rules, but I could have seen it unravel quickly. I felt bad for the workers in all areas as they needed 2x as much help. We didn’t really have a party host (which was fine, bc we were low maintenance), but our party table was not ready when we arrived (this was quickly rectified) but later the party next to us just started using our table because they had so many people. When we left to check out, the computer system (glitchy) indicated we had added 10 people to our party (we hadn’t). The day after I got a call & a VM that I still needed to “settle up” my party bill. I’ve paid in full. All in, 5 stars for the concept and fun, plus all the workers were nice & accommodating and the manager was honestly a rockstar to keep so cool under so much pressure; but 2 stars for operation readiness & preparedness. They could have used at least another month to hire and it would be ideal if they limited walk-in participants once it reaches a certain capacity (perhaps they do already but the system is a little broken). I have hope they’ll get the operation piece smoothed out! Recommended with...
