I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amrut Fusion Indian Restaurant in the St. Louis area, and it was truly an exceptional experience. This restaurant easily ranks among the best in the region, and there are several reasons why. First and foremost, the food at Amrut Fusion Indian Restaurant is nothing short of excellent. The flavors, spices, and presentation of each dish were outstanding. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant has something for everyone. From the delectable curries to the flavorful tandoori dishes, each bite was a delightful journey through Indian cuisine. The variety of options on the menu ensures that you can always find something to satisfy your taste buds. The ambiance at Amrut Fusion Indian Restaurant is equally praiseworthy. The decor is tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're visiting for a romantic dinner or a family celebration, the restaurant's ambiance sets the perfect mood for any occasion. The attention to detail in the restaurant's design adds to the overall dining experience, making it a visually pleasing place to enjoy your meal. Now, let's talk about the highlight of my visit – the customer service. The staff at Amrut Fusion Indian Restaurant truly goes above and beyond to make your dining experience memorable. They are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are more than happy to provide recommendations and ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued. The exceptional customer service adds a personal touch to the dining experience, making it even more enjoyable. Lastly, I must mention that this restaurant is a new addition to Chesterfield, Missouri, and it's a must-visit for anyone in the area. Amrut Fusion Indian Restaurant has quickly become a gem in the local dining scene, and I can see why. Whether you're a regular patron of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a culinary destination that deserves your attention. In conclusion, Amrut Fusion Indian Restaurant in Chesterfield, Missouri, is a fantastic dining establishment that offers excellent food, a delightful ambiance, and top-notch customer service. It's a place that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience. Make sure to put it on your list of must-visit restaurants in the St. Louis area; you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant has a lot of potential but has some work to do. First of all, it's unclear what it even is. The sign says "Meet Eat Chill - Amrut Fusion - Bourbon House." It's unclear that it's actually an Indian fusion restaurant. Thankfully, I had seen articles about this restaurant opening up so I knew what to expect. I was excited to try something new, since my go-to Indian dish, like many Americans, is chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. However, the menu was hard to understand. For Tikka Masala Pasta, which sounded interesting, it says: "(Veg & Grilled Chicken) (Penni, Mac & cheese & Spaghetti) A fusion dish combining pasta with aromatic tikka masala sauce, merging" I didn't understand what that meant, so I didn't order it. Same with the pizzas: "7 inch Quick Bite Pizza (Veg, Cheese & Chicken + $1) A compact, fast-serving pizza topped with fresh ingredients and savory flavors." What does that mean? If it simply said "chicken tikka masala pizza" then I would be all over that. But as it is, it's unclear. After spending 15 minutes trying to make sense of the menu, I gave up and just ordered my usual chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. My wife got the dosa waffle. The presentation was great, with the rice coming in a pyramid shape and the chicken tikka masala in a small cauldron. I didn't like the naan – it was very flat and had no rise/puff. My wife liked her dosa waffle and thought it was creative. I ordered a chocolate manhattan and it was just okay. None of the bourbons had prices, so I was hesitant to order one. Their drink list also had some typos, such as "Schnickelfritz IPA" which is actually a Hefeweizen. The staff was all very nice and attentive. You can pay via QR code, which I always like. Their happy hour specials were pretty weak. It's weekdays from 3-6p and includes: $1 off draft beer $5 Wheatley vodka choice $5 Canyon Road Wines $20 Bud Light & Corona Buckets For a bourbon house, I would have liked to see bourbon on the happy hour menu. Overall, the food is good and I hope they do well, but being advertised as a bourbon house and having a hard-to-understand menu might make it a challenge to thrive as an Indian fusion restaurant.

Opened from 11am-1:30am! ⏰ Table for 1, no wait time. Welcoming faces and atmosphere. The staff was very kind. Plenty of seating space as well. 🪑 Huge menu with tons of delicious options! 📒 Water was good, which has been oddly a huge deal for me lately. 💧 Pepsi products available 🥤 Only Diet soda is Diet Pepsi, but tons of coffee, tea, and beverage options! ☕️ 🫖 I was also told that I could get one refill for free (I’m a heavy drinker at restaurants so that was a little bit odd to hear, but more water it is) 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ I usually can do a bit more than mild before I start chugging water. The medium spice level was perfect for me, I could still enjoy my food without washing it down and crying out of my nostrils haha. 🤣 🔥 🔥 The bill can be paid for VIA a QR code, very convenient. 🧾 My total was $73.78 CONS: ❌❌❌❌❌ I asked for no onions, my food as you can see have tons of them. When I mentioned it to the girl who took my order she said “we added for the flavor or decoration” I told her I was allergic and she still insisted that I could pick them off 🧅 There definitely is a language barrier, which made it difficult to understand the options for the “combo” that they offered (hence how I ended up with sweet corn soup 🥴 oops). I was also expecting lamb brisket to look different or there to have more food, but that’s also on me. I wish the Naan bread came with a dip, and was in warm. The rice wasn’t my favorite I think it was the spices but that’s just me. Restrooms, super clean, however the first stall didn’t have toilet paper. 🧻

Saturday night dinner at Amrut Fusion...I had heard some good things about this new restaurant and I had some family in town that wanted to try a new Indian restaurant. The first thing to note is the wait stuff. The wait staff seems to be built from young international students that have not been trained and lack confidence. In some cases, an international student's English may not be the best, but the ownership and management have failed their stuff by not instilling confidence and proper training in them.

Our waitress was also unfamiliar with the limited menu. She also had to look at our menu to add the price of them item to our ticket. We ordered two soups, the corn and hot & sour. The corn might as well have been from a can. And, the hot and sour was just a thick broth loaded with black pepper. We did tell the waitress about this with the intent of just letting the staff know since they're a new business. We also ordered the bombay shrimp. It was actually pretty good. The waitress though seem worried to ask us how it was because when asking us, she let it slip that this was the first time they made it. Probably not the best thing to say.

We then ordered two dosas and chicken tikka masla with butter and garlic naan. There was some confusion because I wanted to verify that the chicken came with rice or if we needed to make a separate order. The food arrived. The dosas were soggy. The chicken was actually really good, but very spicy. Their menu has pepper(s) to show how spicy a dish is. The tikka masla had no sign of being spicy. After a minutes, I realized it wasn't spicy tikka masla; it was regular chicken vindaloo, which is spicy.

I had asked the seem be manager for extra sauce for the naan. He asked what dish I ordered. I told him chicken tikka masla. He comes back with a sauce cup filled with a bright orange sauce. For reference, the dish we ordered was a dark brownish color. We kept the sauce for the naan. We noticed that the owner was speaking to a table right next to us.

After the owner was done with his conversation, I asked if I could speak to him. He immediately asks if he can get the manager, which was odd because he was clearly the owner or at least in management. He was quickly dismissive of my feedback. He insisted that I ordered the wrong item. And became very combative when I told him about the sauce. Because the two sauces are clearly different in taste and look. We weren’t looking for a refund, but just wanted to offer feedback for new business.

Bottom line, the owner made sure that I won't return to his business.

P.S. I saw cleaning staff using Windex bottles to clean the tables. The tables didn't seem to have...
