Unacceptable Dining Experience My recent visit to your restaurant was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience I've ever had. Several issues, ranging from food quality to deceptive billing practices, made for a truly disappointing and frustrating evening.

First, the Fettuccine Alfredo was severely subpar. It tasted overwhelmingly of milk, with no discernible cheese flavor whatsoever. Furthermore, no offer of additional cheese was made to enhance the dish. This was, without a doubt, the worst Alfredo I've ever had.

Second, there was a significant lack of transparency regarding additional charges. The menu did not indicate that adding protein incurs an extra cost, nor did my server inform me of this when I ordered the Small Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. I was subsequently charged an additional $10 for just four small shrimps, an exorbitant and unexpected fee.

Third, a discrepancy occurred with the cost of the Alfredo itself. The menu listed it as $24, but I was charged $25 at the time of payment. I had to request a correction to this erroneous charge.

Finally, and most egregiously, I experienced what felt like a discriminatory practice. Due to the exceptionally poor food and service, I opted not to leave a tip. However, upon reviewing my receipt a week later, I discovered an unauthorized $10 tip charge had been added without my consent. This constitutes a highly unethical practice, and I intend to report it.

In summary, the combination of terrible food and deeply concerning service made this an absolutely...

Solo traveler that randomly found this place on Google. How many reviews but with a high rating of 4.8 I gave it a whirl.

Service was great with very warm and welcoming staff it was great. From the front host to the last busboy who boxed up my meal for me.

I didn't know Italian food was a thing here in St Louis before today. My waiter recommended the Linguine Del Mar which is what my wife normally orders all the time when we eat Italian. So I had my fair share of this dish.

This dish was so good I felt like I was cheating on my Wife. The guilt I had while eating her favorite dish and it tasting so amazing with out her. Usually this dish is gritty because of the clams and seafood but I found it was a very clean well executed. I would say it was THE best Linguine I ever had that was balanced with the red pepper flakes spice that was just right. The Pasta was cooked to perfection with just the right chew.

I don't even remember what else I even ordered because the linguine was so amazing.

So the Google reviewers were right about this spot. Call for reservations as they got pretty busy as I was finishing up my meal. Seems like a place that would be hard to get into for same day reservations during prime...

Server completely ruined the leftovers.

I absolutely love this place. Yesterday I took myself there for a special "me" dinner. Normally I would come with my kids for a birthday or something. I ordered the normal appetizer knowing I would get to take some home (toasted ravs). I ordered my favorite pasta Benedetto's Farfalle with chicken.

I asked the server to send me home with some bread to go with my leftovers and when I double checked that with him he snarkily said "yes, that's what you asked for right?"

So I go to get my leftovers out and, there's one tiny piece of bread in WITH my leftover pasta - so guess what? It's soggy and not edible.

I was excited for my toasted ravs, but GUESS WHAT? Instead of packaging the sauce in it's own container, he dumped it in the to go box with my ravs ON TOP! WHAT??!!! Soggy and unedible.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE from a guy who presented himself as the best server created.

I spent $75 on this meal and 1/2 the leftovers which are normally so wonderful are ruined. Such a waste.

Next birthday meal will NOT be...

Stopped into Buzzettas for dinner and it did not disappoint. Some of the best Italian I’ve had in STL. We got toasted ravioli and meatballs to start off. Breading for the ravs was delicious, meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The Sicilian Chicken was 10/10 would get again. The breading was perfect and the chicken was juicy. Also got the parpadelle pepperoni pasta, very light sauce with immense flavor. Desserts topped off the night. Tiramisu was delicious, as well as the chocolate cake. The salted caramel cheese was outstanding. Chocolate cake wasn’t really cake, more like a mouse texture.

This is not your average strip mall restaurant. This place is a real gem. The food is classic, traditional Italian, prepared with care. I had the Italian Chopped Salad, Spaghetti alla Puttenesca, and the Tiramasu. The salad had generous chunks of cheese, salami, and artichoke in every bite. The pasta was perfection. The service was meticulous, including cleaning up crumbs between courses and including fresh bread to take home with my leftover pasta. My water glass was always full, and I was offered fresh ground pepper and parmesan cheese. Thank you, Buzzetta's!
