Love popcorn and this was my favorite place until today. I picked up a large bag of plain popcorn yesterday to share at a gathering of girlfriends today. They packed it fresh for me and were great when I was there. I guess I should have tried a sample before purchasing. It has such a bland taste and when I passed around for my friends today it was unanimous and we all threw our batches away. I called today to let them know and they didn’t even offer to have me come back and swap it out and said that I got what I ordered - plain popcorn. If I wanted more taste, I should have ordered movie butter popcorn… he said. I thought there was only one plain popcorn. I don’t feel appreciated as a customer and felt bad for calling even… I guess I need to always sample before buying. Don’t expect any courtesy back. It’s all about business. So...

Love this place and the variety. It’s always so fresh. Like the unique candy selection too. There is one person working here however that is not so friendly, which doesn’t sit too great with me when I drive 35 minutes to get here and typically spend $60-$100 on a trip. I’m sure the other reviewers are commenting on the same woman. I’ve encountered two ladies here; one was nice but the other I completely agree that she hates her job and has no desire whatsoever to be there or help this business flourish. When I called to ask a question one day, the gentleman that answered was also nice. Boy I REALLY wanted to be generous w my review as I have a soft spot for candy stores! However, I don’t even have photos or videos to add bc the atmosphere inside was less than positive or fun. I actually felt a bit like an inconvenience. Candy selection is ok. Was hoping for the super popular swedish candy and there were 2 varieties available. Several jars were barely filled. The service was quick. The pricing is great! Affordable. The popcorn is really good but sadly, I think they might as well just be online only and ditch the brick and mortar OR do whatever is takes to be relevant and a fun neighborhood sweet spot!
