The Cosmetics Company Store — Local services in Chesterfield

My daughter LOVES makeup and I wanted to surprise her with a present. I visited the week before Easter and the Store Manager, Constance, and associate were amazing. They helped me research and were looking up products that meet my daughter’s requirements. They helped me come up with the perfect gift for her. They made me look like a STAR because she absolutely LOVED her present! She couldn’t wait to visit The Cosmetic Company Store and check it out for herself. We just visited this past weekend and had the same wonderful experience! The Store Manager, Constance, and store associate Victoria are both ROCK STARS! They were so pleasant and helpful. My daughter spent so much time in the store. It is hard deciding what to purchase when you get in there and you see all the sales! We both walked away with a bag of makeup, free samples, and smiles from out lovely conversations with the associates. Thank you for a lovely shopping experience, ladies! We look forward to...

UPDATE: Glad to see that there has been an overhaul. I visited again in May 2023 - doors were open during business hours and staff was friendly. Thanks CCS!

Incredibly hostile and rude staff.

Doors were locked over a 2 hour period. I tried the doors at different intervals as I had driven 45 minutes specifically to visit this store. On the 4th try, the employee unlocked the door and began to berate me with a raised voice. She would not state whether or not they were open or tell me their hours. I was there within the hours posted online. She stated that it was just her working so I couldn’t come in because she was taking phone orders. Seems to me these employees can’t be bothered to let people in the store.

Absolutely awful experience. Estée Lauder please come audit this store, no other cosmetics company store location is like this....

Absolutely ridiculous. I went one time about a year ago and had a decent experience, since this is the only one near me, decided to try it again. Drove over an hour specifically for this store just for the lights to be off and the doors to be locked. Tried calling the store phone to see what was going on and couldn’t get an answer. Went and looked at other stores for about an hour and went back for it to still be locked. Would love to be able to shop here but it’s hard to get any customers when you’re not allowing anyone to even come inside. Might want to do better about the timing and at least posting a sign stating you’re on a break and how long you’ll be gone. Many businesses have signs saying they’re short staffed and to please be patient with them like you have yet don’t have such...
