I am an Aaron's customer and am happy to do business there - until now. I went into the store almost two weeks ago and picked out a couch. The two male employees told me they couldn't write up the purchase agreement until the couch was ordered because they did not have the SKU until it was ordered. They told me Ashley, the manager, would be in in the morning and would order it then and give me a call for the paperwork. I never received a call. Four days later, I called and spoke to Ashley. She told me the couch was ordered but they wouldn't be getting the truck that week and I would have to wait. She was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and off-putting. She told me she would call the following Thursday with an update. I never received a call. A week goes by since I spoke to Ashley and I call again(my couch was suppose to come in the day prior) and am told that the driver got in an accident and they can show me pictures of him in a neck brace at the hospital. I asked the employee directly if my couch was or was not on that truck, since I've never received confirmation that the couch has even been ordered. He told me "probably". I have no idea what is going on with this store. The customer service and communication is absolutely piss poor. Two weeks later I have no idea if the couch has been ordered, when it is to be expected, paperwork on it, etc. This will be the last time I do business with Aarons.
Edited one week later: After receiving a call from Ashley(the only call I have received from this store) I was told the couch would be delivered Friday by 7 and that the driver would call 1 hour before drop-off. 7:24 PM on Friday, I call Ashley to ask her the ETA on the couch. She puts me on hold and returns to tell me the truck is back at the store with Mt couch on it, that the order form was misplaced so it was never delivered. I explain to her how ridiculous this entire situation has been and that thus customer service is incredibly poor, she proceeds to tell me to take my business elsewhere. I have terminated my rental agreement with Aaron's and will NEVER return. My business will be done at RAC. Ashley is a terrible manager, has zero customer service skills to speak of, and is overall a terrible person to have to interact with. Why Aaron's allows this type of person to continue to work for them is beyond me. I encourage anyone reading this to make sure they read the other reviews on Ashley and save yourself the headache of dealing with this store.
Edit(03/11/25) I chose to give Aarons a second chance and ordered a TV through the website. It was approved and said the TV would be delivered within two to three days and to expect a call from the store. Two days later I receive a call from Ashley telling me my order has been canceled and my money refunded. She proceeds to tell me that she will not do business with me. I find it incredibly unprofessional that this is the route she has taken after I chose to file a complaint against her. Do your research and read the reviews about the staff at this location before conducting business. I went online to RAC and started the paperwork. An employee called within ten minutes, and after maybe a 10 minute phone call, had a TV ordered, paid for, and with a delivery date(not to mention 10 inches larger and for the exact same price weekly and in total). Read moreStay far away from this place. We moved to Cheyenne, WY on military orders for only about 6 months before moving to the next location. We signed a lease to rent a washer and dryer and it was to be delivered on a Monday. They called one week before this date to reschedule to the next day, Tuesday around 11am-4pm. On Tuesday morning we called to confirm this delivery and were told that only one of their delivery drivers had a drivers license, and the others couldn't get on the military base. The one with a license apparently had a last minute funeral. With this they rescheduled to the following Saturday. Saturday morning comes around so we call again around 10am to confirm the delivery and we are told that they are at the gate but can't get on base because they lost the vehicle registration. They said they would call back within 20 minutes with an update. 30 minutes later I called back again and was immediately transferred to the assistant manager, Scott. He was the driver in the vehicle who did not have the registration and had no update on what would happen next or when we would receive our appliances. At this point we were irritated and in need of the appliances, so we asked them to cancel and refund what we had paid. Scott said we could do that, but we would have to call on Monday. I asked him to send me an email with this same verbiage so that I had it in writing. He told me that he had to call his General Manager to make sure he could do that. We got off the phone and I called back about a half hour later for an update. He couldn't get in contact with the General Manager so he still couldn't do anything. I said "all I'm asking for is an email stating that you will refund our money and terminate the contract, which is exactly what you are telling me over the phone. If what you are telling me over the phone is true, there should be no question or issue with typing the exact same information in an email. Are you being untruthful to me or can you do this?". With that, he decided he would write the email but then apparently he could not login to the email because someone had changed the password. After about an hour he did call back and send an email with the information in writing. He stated that we need to go to the store on Monday to get the refund, which we will do. Hopefully the General Manager understands how pathetic this situation has been, and refunds the money...
Read moreDo NOT rent from them. Their workers are EXTREMELY rude and they will harass you day after day. My husband lost his job, and I stayed in contact with them and let them know of the situation, when we finally had the money to make our monthly payment it was late, but we paid for the late fee and the monthly fee, we were told that we were good until the next month for a payment. 2 weeks later they come pounding on our door, completely rude to my grandmother, with a note saying we are 22 days late and owe way more money then we even need to pay in a month payment. I called them and they said the manager would call me on Monday. Saturday I get another call from them, (their females are completely rude), I didn’t answer because I worked all day, got off work with ANOTHER missed call from them, harassing me saying I need to make contact with them. On Monday first thing in the morning they call, I was expecting it to be the manager, but no it was one of their females Brandy, calling to once again harass us, then gets us to Adam the manager, he tells me the note they left was wrong and we scheduled a pick up date on Thursday because my husband and I am tired of being harrassed. Wednesday they call me leaving a message telling me I need to get in contact with them or they will have to bring in their lawyers... WE ALREADY HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THEM AND ITS GETTING PICKED UP.
Do not rent from here, their females are completely rude, they don’t do their job and look into their accounts before calling, every month we have rented from them we made our payment and then 2-3 days later they will call me telling me I didn’t make my payments, and will have complete attitude with me. Then they will say they will look into my account and call me back, will call back saying I only made half the payment which is completely wrong, and will call me the next day about making a payment, while the manager is suppose to be looking into it, and then they find that I made the full payment... how is a company ran this badly?!?!?
