Bomgaars — Local services in Cheyenne

The store does have alot of product expecially an amazing selection of dewalt tools. The major pitfalls of the store would be organization. Its ridiculous, typical grouped products such as outdoor yard and garden is scattered throughout the whole store. I looked everywhere my first visit to find DR weed whacking line, but it was not in with any of the offered weed whacking products. So I thought they just didn't offer it. My second visit I happen to stumbel on it as I was going out the "tiny side door" to the green house. It was shoved off to the side in the plumbing area. The main entrance (west) that most people liked to go in is locked and the garden entrance is through this tiny side door. The outside garden area is a obstacle course that tends to put you out on in the road to get around their plant displays. Which can be very stressful with little children. Very unsafe if one happens to take off. With all that theres more. You hardly see any emplyees to help and they clearly dont give a s** to be there or help. The check outs area are over crowded with quick grab murch. Floors are unever carpet , tile, carpet etc. I know they did a ton of construction on this store, but they left so much stuff undone. Why? For it being brand new, it is poorly presented as a bomgaars and unpleasant to shop in.

Update: I've seen that the store had made improvements to better customers experiences. By that I want to change my rating of this store. I personally have loved shopping at other a bomgaars an really hope this store can keep...

So far my rating of them are 1/10 went for my first visit yesterday and first impressions are everything, was smiled at and greeted by the checkout lady who had great customer service, went over to the hunting department and wasn’t greeted once out of the 10mins I browsed around, grabbed a few gun cleaning supplies and walked around their entire handgun display case and rifle & shotgun case, the woman working was completely inexperienced didn’t even know how to drop the slide on a handgun when they were trying to complete a sale, no muzzle awareness from the lady, the guy at the computer helping with the sale also didn’t greet me, zero interaction not a hi, bye nothing so I’ll be sure to avoid another visit for awhile, I don’t not recommend you visit! I go to every firearm store in town and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had visiting a location. Hope they close like Jax did with over priced merchandise, what baffles me is Jax hunting department was great and they didn’t even give those guys an option to keep their jobs and hire from within they brought in their own people with no customer service or hunting experience,...

First time to the store. Asked to get in the ammo case and was told to hold on a second so they could do employee training. Two people behind the counter. I am the only client in the gun department and what ever they had on the computer was more important than the customer. I even pointed it out and they continued on the computer made me wait. Then came to help. First impression failed. Asked me what ammo I wanted I said I want to read the boxes he pulled out target ammo. I reach for the ammo I wanted he stated I was not allowed to grab the ammo. My lady and my son said let's just leave screw this place. I bought anyways because the stop was to save time. The drive would likely been the same time after waiting for them to train. I can only guess why the rating at this store is a 2.9...
