It's been many years since I've eaten at Five Guys and I deliver for them all the time and it always looks good so I figured I would try some. I got a bacon cheeseburger, a hotdog and some cajun fries. The fries are really good, great texture and they were fresh. The hotdog is also very good, crispy butterfly cut with mustard and ketchup. The burger however is another story. While it is very juicey and decent tasting, it didn't have any of the toppings I asked for except for the mustard, ketchup and bacon. I got an extra patty which I thought would make it 2 but I guess there's already 2 so it made it 3.
So I don't know if that made it difficult for them to put the toppings on or something but I wish they would have said something when I picked it up. I was standing there for 5 minutes at least waiting for the fries so they had ample time to let me know. The workers were saying to eachother that something was irritating them and they kept looking at my receipt on the bag when she was getting my fries ready. While the burger was still good as it is, when I pay that much (pictures attached) I expect to get exactly what I ordered.
Disappointing but I'll give them another...
Read moreThese joints used to have the highest quality of food with the exciting atmosphere of "on the fly" orders. 10 years after the first time I stepped into one of these restaurants, I am begrudgingly disappointed with the Cheyenne location. I was hoping to relive some memories through the ambiance; instead, I was further let down when I asked for fresh fries as I noticed he never dropped fries, yet there was some waiting to be packed up before my patties had even been flipped over. When he tossed the old fries, he said loud enough for me to hear, rougly 12 feet away, I am "wasting his fries." I am paying for an experience, not just the food, when the price for 2 burgers and a small fry is 30 dollars. This is the last time I will ever eat at five guys here in Cheyenne, as I would like to preserve the memory of how...
Read moreOverrated, Overpriced, Overplayed! The burger itself is off a griddle not flame broiled, the frys were great, but I wouldn’t drive past any other burger joint for them. The price of the subpar burger alone was $10,59, almost $2.00 more than the double whopper combo, because Burger King actually serves a combo meal. Sorry but this place is overhyped and way overpriced for a subpar burger and home frys. What a burger or Burger King is far better tasting and a much better deal! I don’t know who they paid off for their write ups in magazines, but they missed the mark, Cheap Eats? At $45.57 to feed me and my wife, no thanks! It was good, but it wasn’t great, and did not live up to the hype or...
