Sadly disappointed with a recent interaction with a senior staff member. Had purchased an unlocked phone the was sold to me being told it'd be compatible with my provider. It ended up not being compatible so I went in to return the phone. The original price was 100$ roughly. The first associate told me there would be a restocking fee, but the phone wasn't used not was it my error that the phone wasn't compatible. I told the associate this and she promptly asked a senior member of management to approve waiving the fee. Instead of approving this action, the senior member decided to pull a member of electronics as well as himself to the return desk to "confirm" what we were saying. After 30 minutes of both associates trying to explain to the senior member that the phone was simply not going to work with my provider as well as it was not working at all. The member of management then began to have an attitude after we had to argue for half an hour that we had already gone through these steps on our own. After wasting our time and his, and the companies money wasted on three associates, he finally refunded our card. He was not hesitant to be rude and disrespectful in the process. The other two associates were not rude and if anything we're aiming to satisfy the customer as where the member of management was obviously being prejudice, as to what I'm not sure. I'm more disappointed that I no longer feel comfortable shopping at your local store considering I may have to deal with the disrespectful and rude attitude of your managing staff simply for wanting to make a return for an item that was incorrectly recommended to me by another member of staff. The member of management was a tall man, I believe his name was Michael. I'm not sure you'll do anything to reprimand such a rude staff member but I'd recommend you pursue him adjusting his customer relations attitude before it inevitable affects your turn over rates and employment rates. No one wants to be undermined just because a higher up is paranoid and prejudice. And I imagine this member has already forced associates to leave because of a lack of accountability in management. Please consider reasonable actions for this member of management and please consider taking micro-aggressions like this more seriously as it affects both the customer and...
Read moreOn October 21 2023, I went to Target around 8 pm to just browse and do some light shopping. I was being followed by an employee in a bright green vest. When I was in the skin care aisle looking at products, that employee "coincidentally" ended up on the same aisle doing inventory. He asked how I was doing, I answered, and continued pondering if I wanted to purchase that item. When I decided I didn't want the item, I put it back on the shelf and moved on to the next aisle. When I moved to the next item, that employee questioned if I picked up 2 other skin care items and put them in my basket. I told him no, and I only had one in my basket. Basically, he didn't believe me and accused me of stealing. I straight up asked him if he was accusing me of stealing, and he told me he was just telling me what he saw. I showed him the inside of my purse and turned my pockets inside out to prove I didn't steal anything. He looked kind of flustered, said something, and walked away. I was in shock. I took the basket I had and sat it in the middle of the main aisle. I went to the customer service counter and requested to speak to the manager. I made her aware of what happened and that I did not feel comfortable shopping at this location. She apologized, and that was it. Idk if any action was taken against that employee.
I still do not feel comfortable shopping in this location right now. Since then, I've had time to think. Now I believe I would get followed around that Target every time I shop there. Especially when I'm not in my military uniform. I am extremely disappointed with this Target store. Hopefully I can shop there again soon and not be uncomfortable. I love Target and the Cheyenne Target is...
Read moreSince I just got done writing a review about another Starbucks in town that isn't particularly friendly, I thought I should come and praise the one that I almost always have good experiences at. Starbucks in the store isn't listed on Google Maps. But I have to give props to those who have operated in here over the past two years. My drinks have always turned out well here, and almost every time, the employee behind the counter is very nice and understanding (and makes the drink well! I've had some photogenic drinks, I admit.) I think this is actually technically just a target that is selling Starbucks food, drinks, and products. It's interesting to me that a target can run a Starbucks better than a Starbucks can run itself alone.
I don't have very much to say about the Target store here itself. It's much more comfortable/cleaner to be in then a Walmart is, so I usually go here for home goods/personal items/games, etc. As for groceries, there isn't that much food to choose from, though. Target had a semi-recent renovation, and now the beauty section looks pretty nice! Target employees lately have been really kind. I'm sure it goes up and down in terms of friendliness over time. If I can buy it at target, I usually will. Stay...
