Truly terrible Mexican food. First arrive to the ridiculous hosted stand 50 yards into the place, got a table. Lady brought us chips and salsa, we thanked her twice and she didn’t say a word. Right away didn’t feel welcome. The waiter was nice, but he forgot our sour cream, and didn’t check on us once durning the meal. Then, charged us for the sour cream. The chile rellano was ordered crispy, it had soggy breading and cheap cheese just globed inside. It was also smothered and it made it even more soggy. I would be happy to come down and teach them how to make a proper one, it was embarrassing. I rung out half a cup of grease from it after I tried to cut it and it was rubbery like it was microwaved. The enchiladas were tough like they were microwaved or sat out for hours pre made. The beans were the consistency of soup and the salsa was sweet and didn’t taste right. Some of the worst Mexican food, and service, I’ve ever run across in Cheyenne. The meals come out way too fast to be cooked to order. Very disappointing, unprofessional, and disgusting. To top it off, I was done with my food for 30 mins before the doughnut came and asked if we needed anything. Maybe the check so I can leave, and never return. It’s run by people who have no idea what they are doing. The fact they won best Mexican in town, is a joke. I may be white, but I’m from New Mexico, and I could cook them under the table and eat at home. Best thing about that is the food would be edible. I bet they couldn’t boil an egg l, it’s truly unbelievable how bad this place...
Read moreOkay so I went into eat at the restaurant a couple weeks ago and my experience was awesome great service and the food was amazing. Today I decided to order and I had to order delivery due to my husband being gone with the car. I ordered a flaming hot burrito for my son and I ordered myself a combination plate that came with rice beans an enchilada a relleno and a taco with just that order it came to $50 ! My food was 30 and all the fees was another $20 which I was like dang that’s a lot but hey their food was so good I didn’t mind. Food was great when we got it as far as taste I was just very very disappointed in how small the amount was of beans and rice for my combinations literally a small spoon each. Which upset me because that’s my favorite part the sides. I kept looking under the food just to see if maybe there was more hidden but nope lol. I love your guys food but you guys should really give people what they are paying for. Should have came with more beans and rice ! I trusted you enough and like your food enough to make the decision to place an online order but now I would be afraid to do that again because I can’t trust you guys will portion properly. He did give me my green sauce for free so I guess that’s...
Read moreOne of the few Mexican restaurants where I can get vegetarian options. This on my favorites list in Cheyenne. While the refried beans are cooked with lard, the black beans are vegetarian, as is the rice. It's rare to find a Mexican restaurant that does not have chicken stock in their rice. This is one of the few. I've eaten here for about two years since this location opened, and the other location even before. While they serve breakfast, they don't open until 11 AM.
The dinners I've had here are enjoyable. We really like their mushroom salsa. Yep, mushroom salsa. Their regular salsa is very good. If you want more intense ask for habanero sauce on the side. I appreciate their chip aren't too salty. There barely is salt on them. Too often tortilla chips are way over salted.
The are also one of the few place which make Original Margaritas correctly: lime juice, Contreaun, Triple Sec, and Tequila, nothing else other than ice. They have other variation for those who like them, but finding a correctly made Original Margarita is about as rare as finding Mexican Rice without...
