UPDATE: I stopped into the Mongolian Grill today after some time. I believe the management of this location has changed again (I could be wrong), it has improved since my last review. The restaurant appeared to be cleaner than before, the ingredients did not look aged, and no sticky floors. The quality of my food and how it was cooked was superb, I finished my entire bowl. My only complaints are the meats were a pinch overcooked(better than undercooked) and the hostess seemed to be less attentive. The prices are the same still. Overall, I’m happy to say I’ll be returning again!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: 06/2023 I’ve been visiting this location for roughly 7 years, and have enjoyed every single trip. I can say with confidence that I never had a bad experience. When you’re picking your own ingredients, it’s pretty easy to have a good experience. I visited this location again recently and could immediately tell something had changed. This location is under new ownership. With this being said, it no longer carries the same value it once did. The food appeared aged, almost as if it wasn’t properly stored. The atmosphere here is not what it once was. I understand things change and staff will ultimately change, but this was not a good change. The food was over cooked, way too much hot sauce added when only a little was requested, the rice was caked and in poor condition, the restaurant was dirty with sticky floors, the staff appeared abrasive, and the prices have gone up while quality has declined. I won’t be returning. I will conclude this review in saying that Ford, the original owner, ran a very tight ship, and he will be sorely missed. RIP...
Read moreThis place is NOT like other Mongolian Grill. It's NOT a buffet. All you can eat. They charge you $15 per person for a small bowl of ingredients, the unknown catch was to fill it as high as possible and get to take home leftovers. One bowl per person. Any additional bowl is another $15. After the fact noticed that it wasnt clearly posted as you enter. I have been to many other Mongolian Grills and it has always been one price, all you can eat. But, NOT this place. So if you are going to eat here for $15 a bowl, I would recommend fill it to almost overflowing before you hand it over to the cook. Once the cook places your items on the grill you may want to ask them NOT to put too much oil on your food. I asked the cook many times very little oil and no teriyaki sauce and they didn't listen. When I got my bowl of food it was covered with so much oil and teriyaki sauce it was like a soup. It was so salty I didn't eat most of it. As we left paying, I asked about the sign that says this place is not a buffet? One of the employee showed me a small sign you can barely see. Opposite of the price menu. Why wasn't this sign posted on or next to the price for the food? This wasn't about the price it's very deceiving practice. Most people who have visited other Mongolian Grill nevery paid for each bowl. I didn't make a big fuss over it and even left a good tip for the hardworking cook. I'm just leaving this review for other people who are looking to come here to eat and may be thinking it's all you can eat....
Read morePlease do not go. Just don’t waste your time, money or health. To be completely honest everyone was extremely nice… I just simply do not feel they know how to cook or use properly food safety practices. We got our food and physically watched the man cooking it pour water from the SINK onto our food!!! We were extremely confused considering we just put several scoops of sauces into our bowls for it to be cooked in… and then the man just washed our food off with dirty sink water…. Then the egg drop soup we received was made with cream of corn and a variety of vegetables and chicken… so actually not egg drop soup… never the less I tired it, shouldn’t have, but I did. It was very much so, creamy salt water… we were so stunned we didn’t know what to do. So we wasted the 28$ it all came up to. Trashed it and found a safer food option. It is very very hard to get me to a point of where I want to make a review because people are cruel. But this needed to be put out there because the usage of sink water in food is absolutely insane. I will add photos with what our washed off food looked like. For reference we got to go boxes, both of us got teriyaki sauces and Mongolian sauce on it and we stood there and watched him make our food. So when he washed our food with water on the grill it was no surprise it...
