Review: Inconsistent Service Overshadows Good Food Cheyenne location. I’ve been a regular at Perkins for 50 years, and while the food is consistently good, the level of service is anything but. It truly depends on when you visit and who happens to be working that day. Unfortunately, the inconsistency is dramatic—sometimes you’ll get attentive, friendly service, and other times it feels like you’re an inconvenience just for walking in.

My most recent visit was a perfect example of the latter. From the moment I placed my order, it was clear my waitress had no interest in providing even decent service. Her attitude was negative, and when she repeated my order back, it was as if she was doing me a favor just by taking it. When my food finally arrived, it was wrong. At that point, I had to track someone down to fix it, but by then, I was out of time and had to leave without even eating.

It’s frustrating because I know Perkins is capable of great service—I’ve experienced it before. But the inconsistency makes it a gamble. If management could ensure a more reliable level of service, this location would be a solid go-to. Until then, I’ll have to think twice before coming back, especially when I’m...

We have eaten here at least once a week for years. But, since they remodeled the food hasn't been as good. Tonight is the last time I will eat there. I ordered a senior 2 egg omelet, made with egg whites, Swiss cheese inside and on top. We waited a long time, hardly anyone else was there and people seated after us received their food. We knew something was wrong. Waitress came to say they messed mine up. Did not bring out my husband's food. Finely brought out food, husband's was cold. Mine, a regular egg omelet and two egg whites on the side with hard slices of cheese on top. I told her I wanted an omelet made of egg whites, not what she brought. Husband ate cold meal while I waited for mine. Out came a yellow omelet. I asked why are the egg whites yellow, I wanted it made of egg whites. She replied, the egg whites where inside. I gave up, told her to take it away and take it off our bill. So I had to come home to find something to eat so I could take my evening medicine. I have no need to go through this ever again, therefore, I will never go to this Perkins again. Used to enjoy...

Update (8/27/22): It is unfortunate that their cleanliness has gone down. Looking under the tables there is still dirt under tables that were vacant since before we were seated. Disappointed. 😥 The food however was still top quality. Portions were reasonable as well. They are very swift on getting us a table and making sure that we got our drinks and food quickly. The food is very nice. On one meal the meat had a little to much fat on one meal. On another meal the meat was not spread out over the plate well, and could have had more meat on the overall meal as well. However I was very pleased with the service here. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food. I believe that they stuck to the Perkins mission statement. It is very clean however I would have liked if they had waited a bit more on their cleaning because it makes you feel like you need to eat quickly and get out. I would definitely recommend this place to people looking for a family friendly hearty meal with great service and great staff as well....
