Hobby Lobby — Local services in Cheyenne

Never been called a liar by a store manager before, let alone call my boy one as well. My boy picked out a model, paint and a couple other tools. At first he was hesitant because of the price of the model, but then we both saw a sign on the end of the aisle that clearly stated " 40% off all boxed model kits." Long story short, the discount didnt automatically pop up at the register, so we politely inquired and stated there was a sign. So the very nice young lady at the register, called for the manager and stated to him "looks like may some signs were left up in the model section." So, the manager says I'll go check. After a few minutes of waiting the phone rings and he tells the cashier that there is no sign. So, me and my boy go back and guess what, no sign and the manager stating to us there is none and he asked his employees if they took it down and they all said no?!?! I stated again that we both saw it no more than 5 minutes ago and that it was right on the end cap, but sure enough it was gone and the manager boldly stating that what we both saw was not true... I get it, mistakes happen, but dont question my integrity or that of my son. I don't normally write reviews unless the service is excellent or poor, unfortunately in this case it was poor.

I very much love Hobby Lobby, and its basically one of my favorite places, no matter where we live. The only reason I gave this one 4 stars is that upon moving here in summer 2017, we found that they had several items on sale and for sale that we had bought in our oklahoma HL more than a year prior. Perhaps (or more accurately, I imagine) this location didnt recieve these items til more recently, BUT thats still kind of a problem to me. I dont think that anyone should be paying full price (or the discounted price as most departments are perpetually on sale to 30+%) for something I could have paid $5 for in oklahoma a year ago because it came to be on sale there even before this location even got the item new. Im not sure if its just how HL corporate works, where stores farther away from Okc get the items later and later but are "new" to there, but Ive never encountered this phenomenon anywhere else. So, I have a hard time trusting the prices here now. Im always curious if I could just ask my family to buy it at their local store for a fraction...but Im hoping it was just that one large sale time. I wont know if this is recurring til another visit to oklahoma, but for now, this HL gets 4 stars instead of 5, even though Id still reccommend it and still have it as a favorite...

I didn't buy anything but I must admit I think this is going to be my new favorite craft store I've heard so much about it but where I was living before we didn't have one.

The decor all the different things to start or resume art hobbies you want it they have it I'm very impressed I think from now on for most of my shopping for some of my art hobbies that I'm getting back into I will definitely be going here only suggestion I would make.

It's probably increase your selection of perler beads I love working with perler beads if that can be increased I will definitely be shopping for my perler beads here because they're reasonably priced then other craft stores.

Keep up the good work and I hope my suggestion was very helpful I like watching People's businesses take suggestions from folks like us because then they will be very rewarded for such changes.
