I've been shopping at Mitch's for over 20 years and I've bought a number of charms (15 or so) and a watch from David and he and his associates have always made me feel more than welcome every time I walk in. My wife, Lisa, loves to buy me a new charm every Christmas and she always goes to Mitch's because of how she's treated - she loves it there. Also, David has sent a watch off for me to be fixed, he's worked on my necklace a few times (I've had it almost 20 years), and he's worked on several of the charms. Everything always came back fixed! And the one time that the necklace broke again David fixed it at no charge. I've never had any complaints and that's more than I can say for most of the...
Read moreStarted out getting my watch batteries replaced there. Last year, I bought a sterling silver chain, they were able to thread it through an unique RB eagle and turquoise charm. I have two gold pinky rings that I was unable to wear (both very special from the givers), on one the stone fell out, and the other had been "squished" years ago when loading a moving van. I took in the first ring, and David gave me multi options. He was able to use gold to fill in then make a beautiful new "setting." The second ring, I recently took with me when getting a new watch battery. His associate was able to "make the ring round again." They are always reasonable in their charges as well as wonderful customer service by all. They have lot of beautiful items for sale including special estate items. Just wanted to...

Mitch was the one at the counter, and while other reviews are positive, it seems they had the chance to speak with the nicer employees. Dealing with Mitch (owner) today was a different story. He was rude from the get-go. My request was simple but he made me feel as if I was inconveniencing him greatly by coming in. He interrupted me every time I spoke. I was so shocked by the whole thing all I could think to do was leave. He's human and maybe something happened to him, but it would be better to close the shop for the day to get over it, than to start losing customers because you can't be nice. We won't...
