Harbor Freight — Local services in Choctaw

Harbor Freight would be a great place to buy tools and accessories, just don't go in less than 10 minutes before closing. Rylan, the cashier at the door, tells you you only have 8 minutes until close and to hurry and get your product. At checkout, the vulgar and filthy language used by Rylan offset any good experience at this store. I'm just glad there weren't any children or others to hear these type of vulgarities. Calling the store the next day to try and speak with the store manager, another employee, Joel, was very unprofessional and wouldn't even give the store manager's name, stating it was "privileged information", then proceeded to hang up on me abruptly. I did speak with the store manager eventually after a couple of days, but if this is the kind of customer service you experience at Harbor freight and the kind of vulgar language you have to be exposed to, you would much better be served by going somewhere else for your tools and more friendly service and being treated with more respect. I will definitely let everyone know not to take your children or anyone else to Harbor Freight in Choctaw or else you may hear filthy language just because Rylan or Joel can't control their language and snide attitude. And getting a DM or anyone higher to call and discuss the problem is virtually impossible, they won't call you back, I guess they don't want to hear any complaints or deal with them either. And being 67 years old, I don't have the inclination to be treated like dirt and subjected to vulgar and young peoples...

These people sure have it figured out, I’ve been Harbor Freights all over the country and I’m proud to say the one right here in my hometown has the best customer service I’ve seen by far. I went in today to exchange a generator that failed on me, they were very helpful and resolve the issue quickly. Well, the line was full and everyone available to help was at a register, a grumpy older man came up being very rude and spiteful about not being asked if he needed help yet, the employees who took the attitude from the man were very kind and helpful and resolve the situation quickly. I was thoroughly impressed as I would’ve reacted much different, and I’m a pretty levelheaded person. All in all I think the store will have great success and I’m extremely glad it came to our area. My wife and I stopped by a few days ago, the employees were super helpful, the best we have had at a Harbor Freight. To be fair to other locations, we've received excellent customer service at all the locations we've been to, but this one was a step above. We went in to look for some magnetic lights for our storm shelter and to see what kind of battery-operated fans they had.
