85 Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Choctaw

First time trying this restaurant so we decided to try something simple, chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. I did an online pickup order.

I got to the restaurant, nice atmosphere and the menu looked appetizing.

Got our food home and the first thing I see is corn. Corn in the rice, Im like hmmm but stay open minded.We take the first bite, and all I taste is corn. No flavor or seasoning AT ALL.

Honestly, we ended up just cooking it again and seasoning it, after that, it tasted better but still lacked that taste.

I'm not even from Choctaw, we're from Midwest City and drove to try it.

I initially thought we had a new Chinese restaurant but, we're still on the hunt since Hu Nans in MWC changed their food.

Also, the reviews about the servers not being friendly, yes its true. The worker at the restaurant couldn't even get off the phone to help me, which to me is equivalent to someone assisting me while texting. She just handed me my bag of food, took my money and turned and walked away, so, so did I. I had questions about the hibachi but now, I don't even want...

ABSOLUTELY delicious! We were a bit skeptical as it only had a 3.9 star review but we decided to try it anyway and we are so glad we did!!! The egg drop soup was delicious and you get a lot of it for the price! The shrimp fried rice is loaded with shrimp. The steamed dumplings are some of the best I've ever had. Very flavorful. My wife had the chicken rice noodles and they took were loaded with chicken and flavor. The spring rolls are good. They are small but filled full of yummy goodness. The spicy California roll was spicy but not too spicy, just perfect! The staff was very polite we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait for our to go order as they had a full house, it literally took maybe 10 minutes. We live about 30 minutes away and we were afraid the food would be cold by the time we got home but between the containers and the double bagging the food was still hot! We will most definitely be back! It's rare we find a place we can order take out and not have to reheat it after the longer drive home. I would give them 10 ⭐ if I could but I had to...

Ordinarily very good food. Staff has limited English skills but this adds to the ambiance unless there is an issue.

I ordered the $11.99 lunch special of Sesame chicken and an appetizer of fried cheese cantons.

The chicken dish had a hair (dark black and not mine) in it. We mentioned this and the server took the plate, but not the dish. She apologized. She came with the bill and said she was removing the cost of the wantons and left.

When I got a chance I asked that if they are charging for the chicken with hair that I would prefer they replace the dish as a to go order without hair.

She said yes, took the bill and returned with a bill for $21 and change. I did not recieve a replacement plate to go.

They must be desperate. I'm concerned that they will not last.

I left them with $42 and I hope they don't need money so much that they feel they need to charge...
