Iām somewhat of a Taco Bell connoisseur back to the .39 cent taco days. Iāve had it 3 times this week at other locations and I usually get the same thing every time. Today, my grandson got chips and cheese and the chip bag had 6 chips in itā¦.. SIXā¦.. asked for a 2nd bag of chips when I got my order and was given another half bag which was fine because now I have what should actually be 1.
Next, I open up our burritos and immediately notice how small they are. Like I have a normal sized female hand and It didnāt even cover the length of my hand, Iāve had bigger party burritos at Taco Bueno. The 5 layer burrito maybe had a tablespoon of meat. At this point, I take it to the counter and ask to talk to the manager, she comes up⦠I mention the lack of meat and that I already do had to ask for a 2nd bag of chipsā¦..
At this point, Ricky or however you spell her name, looks at me, doesnāt say a word and walks off down the line while yelling she needs another 5 layer to the staff. I tried to yell to her that it had no sour cream but she didnt hear me, they make it with sour cream of course because of HER lack of proper communication. So now theyāre making a 3rd burrito. Ricky disappeared entirely, I never got an Iām sorry and I didnāt really want another burrito but she didnāt even take the time to ask me. She didnāt say a word to me other than, āyes?ā when she walked to the counter. Zero accountability, zero customer service skills, and zero attempt to even find out what exactly the issue was or correct it. I wasnāt looking for free food, maybe the kid on the line doesnāt know how much stuff he is supposed to use.
I reassured the young lady that my issue wasnt with her it was the ingredient portion and now it was Ricky because of how she just walked off. I now hear Ricky ranting/yelling in the back at the staff that, āif she finds another inaudible of lettuce that she is going to flip out on them.ā Iāve been a manager my entire life, managers that manage with fear and intimidation are toxic to a business. The poor young adults/kids there look like theyāre abused spouses, because theyāre being treated very poorly.
Lastly, I had a hard taco, granted I didnāt want lettuce and I paid .60 cents for potatoes to be added⦠open it up and same story, 6 regular potato chunks and 2 tiny ones. I donāt know if management is pushing them to reduce portions or what but this was by far the worst experience Iāve had at this location. Ricky would never work for me a day again. She has no management skills and just made a slightly annoying experience a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe come here all the time bc it's the closest taco bell to us. They're usually fast but there's almost always something wrong with the food. Tonight we got 2 chicken quesadillas and a party pack. The tacos were fine but the quesadillas cheese was not melted at all. It seemed like the only thing warm was the chicken and that was an awful combination of cold cheese and tortilla plus warm chicken. So gross my boyfriend didn't want to eat his. Something needs to be done at this location judging by the other reviews too.
Edit: so sorry for the long message I'm just so upset bc I don't play about my food, you know the thing that goes in my body to help me survive? Anyways it has happened yet again cheese wasn't melted in our stackers and when I went back to ask if they could do anything about it I was just met with an attitude from I THINK the manager. Dude looks like a discord moderator and has the audacity to be rude to people who come to his store ALL THE TIME AND I doordash from there too. I love taco bell but this store has got to do some changes and by that I mean fire this guy bc he is almost always rude. I got back up to the window and he told me he can't do anything and that has a timer on his oven or whatever it is and if he puts the stackers back in there it'll just burn them. I just said I'd reheat them in the microwave and drove off bc I'm so over this store and I wasn't trying to argue with a grown man (I'm 18). But come on dude it's Taco Bell and you can't melt the cheese on a quesadilla? They've gotten my order just fine before cheese melted and everything perfect but it's just gone downhill. I've worked in food service it's not that hard to make good food and when you mess up it's not hard to give good customer service rather than saying you can't do anything and meeting me with an attitude while all your coworkers are sitting there staring at you. When we got home the stackers were wrapped so awkward then my boyfriend pulled the food out and saw the wrapper on my DLT wasn't wrapped properly and was touching the (probably really gross bc they get dropped on the floor or other stuff gets on them and they get sticky ect. Again I've worked in food service so I know) sauce packets. Stacker wasn't bad reheated and that's the only good thing I have to say. Probably won't come back here bc they might see this and know it's me bc I come so often and get a specific order I wouldn't be surprised if they spit in my food or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAll the stars are for the assistant manager, Melissa M. who is awesome! She tolerates my husband making silly voices at the drive through, always makes sure we get enough sauce packets, tells us about money saving promotions, consistently has a smile and displays an excellent attitude! When she's working the quality of my food is better; I receive full and properly rolled burrito perfection! I bet if she was in control this location would quickly get up to 5 stars! Honestly, every bad thing I'm about to tell you about, has never happened when Melissa was working (other than sometimes having lines, but they go much quicker when she's there).
The other staff is not so great, especially a young blonde boy who never has a good attitude. I'm not sure his name, I think it might be Nate?
I always order extra cheese, I pay for it, and I expect to get it. Unfortunately this does not always happen, in addition my burritos are often half full, sloppy and falling apart. The items are usually not marked to indicate when something has been changed, so it's difficult to find the burrito for the one friend that ordered the same burrito but with no onions.
Something that's just annoying that this location often does is put one item in one bag, two items in another bag, and the fourth item in yet another bag. It's wasteful and irritating. Just put my entire order in one bag, please!
The lines can get out of control at popular meal times/weekend nights. I'm not waiting 20 minutes or more for Taco Bell, it's just not worth it. Consistently understaffed, since this...
