Employees don't wear masks properly at this Macy's. I was in contact with one employee at the service desk who exposed her nose. All it takes is one asymptomatic carrier to spread the virus around to a ton of other employees and shoppers. Please ensure your workers do everything they possibly can to protect themselves and others. I have not been inside a Macy's since March and I don't plan to step foot in another one again for awhile after what I witnessed tonight if employees aren't trained and mandated to do basic things to slow the spread. There was at least hand sanitizer at the register and you bet I kept cleaning my hands. Unfortunately most people don't bother and thus the virus continues to spread.
I was forced to stop by a Macy's to drop off a return from an online purchase. I wanted to ensure it was processed properly and I was waiting for things to go back to normal before going to a store, but I had no choice tonight as my return window was closing. My return was an extremely frustrating process since the computer system inside Macy's didn't show the same information as their online system and two employees denied my return and wasted my time despite my online order indicating I had until the 18th to return my purchase (today was the 17th). Someone finally overrode things to process my return, but what was the point of having a return code for me to show a Macy's cashier to scan in if it doesn't work. They used my CC to pull up my order and it appears the store system found the order but recognized the online purchase date and counted 90 days from that whereas the online system knows when I actually RECEIVED my items (7-14 days after my purchase date) and counted 90 days from the date of receipt and showed that date as the last day to return the item. It was all there in black and white on my account with Macys.com (which clearly shows the last date each item may be returned based on the date of receipt) and I still had to argue with 3 people before my return was processed. I enjoy shopping at Macy's, but I disliked my experience tonight and won't be returning during...
Read moreI never got treated so bad like I did when I came to this Macys! It's been 3 years and I still remembered how I got treated! To make story short, I wanted to buy a cologne for my husband's birthday and I had over 3 grand cash in my purse that my friend paid me back after 2 years LOL! So the lady in the cologne area asked me if I needed help and I told her I was looking certain cologne, and she was stearing at me up and down and giving my daughter ugly looks, and that's when she told me "I don't think you can afford the cologne, it costs $289.00 dollars" I never felted so humiliated infront of my 10 year old daughter, and I don't feel like I looked bad because I was dressed really nice because we were taking my hubby out to dinner, anyway I got so mad and I told the lady give me that cologne plus 2 more so it was a total of 3 😆 and I gave 1 to my hubby, 1 to my son, and another to my brother, just to teach her a lesson and she was just looking at me like wanted to say sorry to me! But she never did, before leaving i gave her a 50 dollar bill tip and I told her " here so you can buy yourself a soda so you can sweaten your heart a little bit! I never came back to this Macys again! Employees should think twice about who they hire, and to treat people with respect, and not because people don't look high class how they think they're gives them the right to...
Read moreToday I went to Macy's at the Chula Vista center to make a few purchases and stopped at the Fragance CHANEL aisle and asked the associate for a few suggestions on fragrances, when I found the one I liked I asked if I could get a sample to make sure that is was going to like it before purchasing it. She refuse to give me one and said that I had to purchase a full bottle of CHANEL fragrance to get a free sample and decided to walked away and do my other purchases. After I was done shopping at the jewerly department (two sets of diamond earings) I told the associate what had happened at the CHANEL aisle and she kindly offered to get me one, because that's what samples are for, to give away to people, so they can try it and return to buy it. Then 5 minutes later the same associate who refused to give me a sample return with an attitude and told me "I'm giving you the sample because you bought some diamonds" This happened on February 6th around 6:00pm it was a mexican lady with gray short hair. I've been a platinum member for years and spent a lot of money at this particular store. Please do not visit this Macy's if you're planning to buy some fragrances, Otay Ranch, Fashion Valley and Fletcher Pkwy Macy's has really great, friendly and...
