I am endlessly frustrated with drive up orders placed for this location specifically. I prefer doing drive up for a number of reasons. I usually have kids in the car with me, and getting us all out and back in the car is a hassle with car seats and whatnot. I often only need a few items, and I know that if I go in the store I'll spend more than I intended. And sometimes my kids fall asleep on the drive, so getting out becomes a much bigger challenge.
I try to plan my orders so that I have 3 or more hours until I'm going to be in the area (and I am in the immediate vicinity about 4 times a week for dance or gymnastics). If I know we have dance at 5 pm, I'll try to place an order before 3 pm. Usually I order even earlier - maybe noon. Drive up always says that it will be ready within 2 hours. Well, over the past two months I have placed easily a dozen drive up orders at this location, and none of them have been fulfilled within the two hour mark. Sometimes they aren't filled until the next day, even if I ordered with time to spare.
On top of that, when I am there to pick up my order, it often takes a long time for the order to come out. Sometimes there are a lot of extra cars there, and I expect that it will take some time. But often I am open for only three or four cars waiting, and somehow I still end up sitting for 15 or more minutes. This is even more perplexing if I submit my "I'm on my way" before leaving home, which gives more than 25 minutes for the order to be prepped. I try to avoid coming during peak hours, and often come after 7 pm on weekdays, but I still have to deal with the excessive wait.
If target can't get the orders completed in 2 hours, that's fine. But they need to change the advertising within the app to reflect that. And it shouldn't take 45 minutes total (my 25 minutes drive and 20 more of me sitting and waiting in my car) for my items to...
Read moreTHIS STORE HAS BEEN THE ONLY STORE THAT I HAVE BEEN TO THAT HAS TAKEN THIS MATTER EXTREMELY SERIOUS. THERE WERE EMPLOYEES RIGHT INSIDE OF THE STORE SANITIZING ALL OF THE BASKETS AND WIPING THEM DOWN, THE GUY WHO WAS OUTSIDE COLLECTING BASKETS WAS TELLING PEOPLE TO PLEASE GO INSIDE TO GET A CLEAN/SAFE BASKET, EMPLOYEES ACTED IF THEY WERE POLICING THE STORE TO KEEP CUSTOMERS MOVING ABOUT AND NOT JUST HANGING AROUND SOCIALIZING, THEY HAD A LINE THAT STARTED A WAYS BACK FROM THE MAIN REGISTERS WITH A ROPED OFF AREA TO WAIT AND A THE MGR AND ANOTHER LADY GESTURED EACH PERSON THROUGH BY SENDING HIM/HER TO EITHER A REGULAR CHECKOUT OF SELF CHECKOUT. THE BEGINNING OF THE LINE WAS AT A CORRECT DISTANCE AND THEY HAD LOT OF X'S ON THE FLOOR SEPARATING THE DISTANCE BY 6 FEET. THE EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING GLOVES AND VERY COURTEOUS. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THIS TARGET WAS SUPERB AND I WILL BE GOING TO THIS TARGET FOR NOW ON. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER ON DUTY TO EXPRESS MY THANKS ON HOW THIS STORE WAS HANDLING/PRACTICING SAFETY MEASURES. THE MANAGER NAME WAS YOLI, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU AND ALL OF THE STAFF ON YESTERDAY WHEN I VISITED THE STORE. THIS MANAGER WAS UP FRONT, AND LEADING THIS GROUP OF WORKERS IN THE BEST MANNER POSSIBLE CONSIDERING THE SITUATION. AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THIS TARGET A 10-STAR RATING!I HAVE SPREAD THE WORD TO FRIENDS THAT NEED TO GO GET GROCERIES AND/OR ESSENTIAL ITEMS. THANK YOU SO MUCH TARGET STORE...
Read moreI usually love shopping at this target. Today was the exception. I had the most uncomfortable interaction with the checkout cashier. I went up to her lane started placing my items on counter, usually cashier will great you and start scanning items. She didn't, no big deal finished placing all my items. I greeted cashier no response, again no big deal. As she is scanning my items she turns to my sister and says Ma'am would you like a bag for your small items? My sister turned to me as I was the one that was paying. I proceeded to tell cashier no thank you. She gave me no eye contact, what followed next was awkward she would scan and item and stop till I removed it from counter. My sister and I looked at each other like what is going on. Long story short when she finished scanning my items. Her tone full of disgust she said your total is $105.00 like she couldn't be bothered with me. My total was $105.92. I payed in full and left. My sister and I were like what just happened. This cashier was giving Walmart cashier vibes. At the end of the day cashiers a play an important role in customer store experience. A little fun fact I am mexican my sister is half white. She looks 100% white. My sister was treated with respect while I was treated like trash. Do better, be better. Thank you for all the other target employees who are...
