If there is 0 stars I would give it to this location emergency care we received. Worst experience we had with this hospital emergency care in liberty township. My 3yr old son fell in daycare and he wasnât able to move his elbow even with a little touch he cried a lot so we rushed to emergency and waited for more than an hour for doctors to see. Doctor came in and saw my sons hand and she wanted to get a x-ray and upon looking into the x ray she said there is a hidden fracture which she cant see in the x ray and she said there is fluid in elbow which is a sign for a fracture. And also she mentioned this is not a nursemaids elbow if it is a nursemaids elbow she would fix it very easily but its not that its a fracture she mentioned. Then she put him on a arm sling and she wanted us to get a apt with orthopedic in a week. We got appt with ortho after 7 days when we called that was the only available soonest appointment. Orthopedic doctor came in looked at the elbow and x ray and he fixed the elbow saying its a nursemaids elbow and this should be fixed like in a day or two after the injury you should not take much time this will hurt the kid more. Now we were shocked listening to those coming from the doctor. We went to emergency for a treatment thinking this will be fixed but not like this waiting for a week to see orthopedic and get it fixed. What are the emergency doctors for?? How did the doctor in emergency care say its not nursemaids and say she would fix it if its a nursemaids. Are they really doctors or just getting some training at emergency without any experienced doctors??? Last year we had same situation and went to urgent care and nursesmaids elbow was fixed in urgent care itself. Emergency should have experienced doctors not someone who is getting trained....
Read moreEnded up leaving after 9 hours with no answers after being seen. My 15 month old son is still having high fevers, now diarrhea & a cough with no plan of treatment. Not to mention the nurse from triage took an inaccurate temperature & said that he was normal at 99 when he actually had a fever of 102.8 & he had to be swabbed for flu twice because the lab tech was careless & ran his first swab for strep instead of flu. The nurse & the doctors were super nice & helpful but had I been back there in a timely matter, I probably wouldâve had them run more tests. I will never take either of my children back there & do not recommend to anyone. There was people who got there after us that got seen and discharged before us with children that were in better shape than my son, not to mention, youâre better off signing in on the Urgent Care side to be seen before Emergency or just signing up on the app & choosing your time. Again, the doctors & nurses were great but the procedures in which things are done causes unnecessary wait times & extreme frustration. They need to do better & be better because there is absolutely no reason that CHILDREN are sick & miserable in the waiting room for SIX...
Read moreIf this was a review based only nurses and PCAs, this would be a 5 star rating. The nurses treated my child very well. They treated my wife and I well.
I have issues with the doctors and the security staff. We take our daughter in for a suspected overdose on her medications. The doctors ran labs on her. The labs came back "normal" However, we were told that they were unable to determine if she ingested more than the recommended daily dose. If the police or another law enforcement agency needed to know if a specific drug was taken, i would imagine they would be able to provide the lab results. Maybe this criticism is unfair but I find it hard to believe if they really wanted to know if too much of a medication was taken they wouldn't be able to find it out. Overall, they were respectful, but how do you begin a plan of care if you don't know WHAT you are treating for?
Security made me show my ID and have my picture taken but not my wife? I came in and was checked in with my family. I went downstairs to get food from the cafeteria. I was treated like i just walked in the door. Treat everyone the same and take them through the...
