I began Crossfit about 4 months at a different affiliate and then dropped into 513 during the start of my clinical rotation in Cincinnati. Since then, I have officially joined the gym and am so glad I did. Having moved to the city without knowing anyone, this gym provided me a community of friends and more importantly a great outlet for fitness. The coaches here are second to none. They truly care about each and every one of the athletes and put form before anything else. Being a current physical therapy student, this is huge for me as I often treat patients who have been injured during this sport and seeing other gyms I can totally see how this happens (huge class sizes with few coaches, coaches only paying attention to "the fittest"). The quality of this affiliate and the expertise of its coaches is demonstrated in their response to the pandemic we are all currently navigating. The coaches quickly pivoted the programming to effective at home workouts and virtual classes that not only provide the same high quality fitness we are all are used to from them everyday, but they also continue to build the community and accountability that really sets 513 apart. My quarantine experience would not be bearable without being a member here.

Read moreCould not recommend Findlay Movement more highly! The gym offers functional fitness training with both strength and conditioning components. Each member has their own coach who we meet with regularly- to help achieve our own health and fitness goals, and to also learn and develop safe technique. Classes are dynamic and fun, with a real focus on technique, and all movements and sessions can be tailored to our own needs and levels. The community here is something really special, too.
