It's a nice small park, there seems to be a booth that was once in commission but out of commission now , just aging there. No public restrooms , a big field to play soccer, football or perhaps baseball. Half a court for basketball I think. Main parking in front of the building but extra towards the back near the basketball court. Main parking is going straight when you enter , extra parking (no parking lines) are to the right after you enter from the main road.
There are some tables that are covered , 2 benches in the open overlooking the view. You can but don't think you should sit on the ledge over the hill, it can be dangerous. There's a small path you can take to walk around the park but not much to offer. It's mainly a scenic spot. Getting there can be a hassle, the main road can fit 1 car at a time unless you or the other drive move to accommodate the other. Very heavy UC...
Read moreWould be nice if the Cincinnati police department would be more kind to the tourists. After hearing about this Great park from so many people I decided to go check it out myself. It was approximately 10:30 at night there was a police officer there in his patrol car who blinded me with his high beams so I couldn't even see where I was going. This created a very unsafe situation for somebody who is unfamiliar with the layout of the parking lot. He refused to take his high beams off my vehicle until I was turned around. Completely unnecessary. From a law abiding citizen who can follow directions clearly and I would definitely respect what he would have said without the blinding high beam treatment. How was I to know that the park was going to be closed. That police officer should have spotted a license plate from the province of...
Read moreThe view is incredible, the best I've seen of Cincy so far, but this park is frankly disgusting. There is trash all over the place, it smells strongly like urine, and almost every other person who was at the park was smoking something, typically not tobacco. I guess I won't judge, but this is sadly not a park to take your kids to in its current state. Avoid taking your dog too, since there's tons of trash for them to eat. If this park could only be cleaned up it would be a great spot. It's worth seeing the view for a little bit, you can see The Big Mac, Downtown, Findlay Market, the new stadium, and all the way to Union Terminal, but, despite all that, this isn't a place I'm too interested in revisiting...
