IT'S BEHIND THE CHURCH!
It's getting closer to fall. I imagine that's why the vendor selection was a little limited. I was still able to buy the veggies and honey I wanted. I also bought a cake pop and noticed another booth filled with baked goods.
Everyone was nice and helpful. Their offerings were fresh and reasonably priced. They accept cards and digital payments.
This was my second trip to TRY and find the Northside Farmers Market. From Maps it looks like it's right there on Hamilton Ave, but it's behind the church, and the access street next to the church is one way. I'm sure it's easy to find if you already know...
Read moreThe market is held inside for the winter and at hoffner park for warmer months. Quite often there is a local playing music. There is good variety with both fresh and prepared foods ,breads, and gifts for that special occasion. They take food stamps and can even double your money (up to 10or 20 bucks)when you buy the tokens. Plenty of space is available if you have something you want to present or sell. These are great people that can also be found at other Farmers Markets...
Read moreOne of the smaller markets, but as it's the neighborhood I was born and raised in, it is near and dear to my heart. For the most part you will find produce and bread. Sometimes honey or baked goods. You might also find a bite to eat!
I particularly enjoy the market in the summer because then it's outside at Hoffner Park. In the winter it's inside the church...
