I took my phone in to have the screen repaired. Within ten minutes of leaving the store, my phone kept freezing. It worked fine with the cracked screen, but after the repair, it became unusable. I came back within an hour, and they changed the screen again.
Honestly, I should have kept my cracked screen. The phone never worked well again. A few days later, I dropped my iPhone into my kitchen sink, with the water level being 3 inches deep. Newer iPhones are water-resistant. I have used my iPhone(s) before in pools, rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water. I never had any issues.
After this shabby repair, the second my iPhone came into contact with water. The screen went black and white streaks appeared. There is no way they properly sealed the new screen in 15 minutes, something that Apple would have done. The phone is unusable, and I have to get a replacement phone after spending money on the faulty repair.
Also, the owner never told me if the screen is an after-market part or an original apple screen. You should be honest with your customers when you use substandard parts.

Nowhere did it say that use cheaper products for repairs and that the iPhone would not operate as it previously did. It would have been cheaper to go to Apple since now I need to buy a new phone because they don't know how to repair...

The front guy was just trying to get money from me and did not do a full service and charge me the same price for doing half of what I ask them to do and I still paid full price for it of $89. He did not charge me less for the service. I felt like he scammed me. I went in for a soldering service. I SPECIFICALLY ask for 2 new mic to be soldered on my phone. Told me it will be done the next day. Gave me the estimate. Next day I came back just for him to tell me they only did one. I ask for both to be soldered regardless. I paid for it so I expected the work I'd paid for. I live 45 mins away from this place and it was a long drive so imagine how annoyed I was when hearing that. Read moreThis place was the worst computer repair store I've ever been too. Once I had to bring my computer there to fix it and the price was around $120. When it was done we went back to pick it up but they had lost our charger for it. So instead of looking for it they lied and said that I never brought the charger. They finally found it and just to add insult to injury the computer wasn't fix at all.
Unfortunately I made the mistake of going there again to get my computer fix a couple of months later. Once again I was charged $120. They said I would have to buy a new motherboard because of a video card problem I had so I just had again waste money. What's worst is that after they put the computer back together it wouldn't work. I will give them credit at least for working quick.
