El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

We ordered several items last night including 3 double chicken tostada bowls. when we got the bowls not only were they less than anyone would call DOUBLE chicken they were all missing the cilantro salad dressing. I called to let them know and pretty much received an "Oh well" attitude from the Manager on staff. we went over the order and I stated that the cilantro dressing was clearly marked on the receipt. I was asked if I would like to come over and pick some up. When I suggested that the delivery driver might have them, the manager stated that we will have to wait until he comes back to the restaurant. I asked if we could be refunded he said not from him because I used the app. He basically could care less for my situation. I enjoyed Pollo Loco but after this I'm pretty much done with them. I will advise folks who order delivery to check carefully before allowing the driver to leave, because once this location has your money their concern for your enjoyment of their...

This El Apollo loco location is awful! First we placed our order and she repeated it back to us at the window so fast we couldn’t understand her. When she gave us our receipt and then walked away we checked it and noticed it was a completely different order. We tried to get her attention but couldn’t for around 5 minutes and even had the car behind us honking to help us. When we finally got our correct order, they didn’t include a fork to eat the salad with or even a napkin. Too bad we didn’t notice until we had already driven away and the only way back into the location was by doing a u-turn across a lot of traffic. We had to go in and get a fork, with no apology and when we finally went to eat, one of the chicken tacos was cold, like it actually came out of the refrigerator. The restaurant was dirty and they were not even busy. My wife took the food to go and when we got home and opened the order the food was cold and not very good looking. The chicken was a little grey when opened. One order of chicken looked okay, but the other did not. For being a slow cooked process you would expect to see pink on the outer part of tue meat. Our chicken was pretty pink at the bone and surrounding. For the price of the food I would expect a higher quality. The other weird thing was the bones on the chicken were all broken. I understand that long cooking or high temps would cause this, but that is not the case here. It seems the bones were broken on purpose to relieve the blood from the marrow because the chicken is bot fresh it was frozen. Over all i would not recommend...
