Hobby Lobby — Local services in Citrus Heights

Horrible, absolutely horrible experience. There so called store manager PJ is absolutely rude and disrespectful. Said he’s the store manager when I asked who their store manager is and he lied to me and their store manager is Kevin not PJ. But I had to call other hobby lobby’s to get that information. They lie about the add price even tho it says 50% off frames on their door and windows. PJ is rude and uncharismatic. I’m 7 months pregnant walking with heavy frames home last week, needed to get more for my baby shower and the cashier last week told me to just come back next week they will be on sale then too. So I did and they aren’t. There is a sing in the window and on the door of this store saying that is the sale price. He wouldn’t honor it. Told me to come back next week, my shower is tomorrow and I need them for the shower and I said well if I come back with the recipe the the paper in the frames that say the price and the bar code, can you honor the sale price and he told me no he can’t, I’d have to have the frames too. They are for gifts for some family members and this is tomorrow that I need them. False advertising. I was lied to about the price and by the name of the store manager. Not okay at all. Horrible that they allow this. Best part when I was leaving those signs were being removed. The store manager is an absolute weirdo and has literally called the cops on me twice thinking I took something when I didn’t. I was waiting in line getting ready to buy something and I pulled my wallet out and I saw the store manager lip that’s enough and get on his phone and I had no clue what he was flipping out about. I paid for my item and when I walked out the exit the cops were there to greet me and asked me what happened. I told him I was taking my wallet out to put for my item and he turned to the manager and said, “What did you see? “Her taking something out or putting something in her purse?”The manager says, “I saw her take something out of her purse”. I think that would be pretty dumb of me to try and steal while sitting in the line ready to check out and in front of the manager, don’t your think? He has harassed me every time I come into the store and it has gotten to the point that I feel like going to the store everyday just to ruffle his feathers and give him something to do with himself because it seems like he has no life and nothing better to do than to harrass me and be a total creep. Although we found a well kept clean store well stocked we also were followed by a cashier when we looked at items close the cashier area. At 1st I thought it's nothing but every time my spouse looked at anything the cashier would only go to that area. So we tested the actions by looking and not touching or moving anything and sure enough it was the exact same behavior. We don't carry bags or anything with us that might promote suspicion, we are very clean and casual but clean dressed. We are a family with very well behaved children, and we are quiet and polite. Upon our departure and purchases the same cashier made sure to come up to us and say goodbye as she scanned us up and down with an aggressive facial expression. Usually when a person gets you up on arrival or departure it's with a smile or more blank look as it's usually required by the employer. But never a angry grin or aggressive...
