I have been a client of Latin Fresh Market for years, or rather I was.
Today I had a very unpleasant experience, super bad service, I was very disappointed, I felt bad, simply when I went to pay by mistake I paid with a wrong card and I asked the cashier Elianny that please if I could cancel the payment method that I had paid with a wrong card to pay with another. She immediately told me NO with an attitude that even felt bad. Anyway, she tells me that I had already made the payment and that the payment method could not be changed. I told her please call the manager to see if can help me. She tells me that it’s okay when she goes and comes back, she comes and tells me that the manager is coming in a moment, while I’m next to her she tells another employee in the form of gossip and mockery what I was requesting. What a lack of empathy on her part.
I’m waiting for the manager to see that he’s coming but he stops to talk to another cashier who is explaining to him I understand that she explains what I was requesting he looks at me and simply goes to another place. After waiting and without anyone telling me anything, it’s just my turn to leave.
We are human and little things happen to one. Simply a more polite and humanitarian treatment had been so well received.
I’m not one to be leaving these types of comments but it’s good that people find out what they could experience by visiting Latin Fresh Market.
I definitely won’t go back...
Read moreWe had a nice experience in this store this past weekends. We are a couple of gringos, (well, I’m Spanish but I can’t speak it), and went there to order the pernil meal for Christmas. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the food selection. This store has it all! It’s similar to an American Fresh Market, but of course very Latin! I tried to food from the food bar as well. It was super busy on a Saturday around 2p. The employees were friendly, but very busy! Even the manager said hello. The lady who took my order for the Christmas dinner walked me to the counter to pay, she was very friendly. Some customers stared us up and down as if we didn’t belong there, but who cares. This is America! I can shop there too and give them my money if I want to. What can I say, people are sometimes rude anywhere you go. Anyways, that has NOTHING to do with the store! We will be back - of course to pick up our Christmas catering meal, but also to shop for Latin foods we cannot find elsewhere and to be in a clean, well organized store with quality meats. Oh yes, we bought some picanha to grill. It was was delish, and a few Latin fruits and vegetables we’ve been looking for -...
Read moreI have been going here for over 3 years and have loved this place for a long time, but recently the quality has been going down and the portions of food have reduced. I ordered oxtail today, and they the staff said that with oxtail is only 3 pieces. I said fine but when i get home with the food it wasn’t even 3 full pieces. It was half pieces and quarter pieces. I don’t even know how you manage to cut the oxtail through the bone in that way. The 3 pieces combined don’t even make a full piece. Completely ridiculous. The food tastes great on some occasions, but terrible in other occasions. I don’t know if they have different cooks that work on differing days, but it’s definitely not consistent. The prices have been going up, which is very understandable with the current economy, but quality shouldn’t go down with rising prices. I would rather the prices go up more but the quality and quantity to remain high. Seriously considering not buying food from this location anymore. I’ll probably go again in a week or two and if i don’t see a change i won’t be going anymore. I do hope they return to how...
