I have been a client of Latin Fresh Market for years, or rather I was.

Today I had a very unpleasant experience, super bad service, I was very disappointed, I felt bad, simply when I went to pay by mistake I paid with a wrong card and I asked the cashier Elianny that please if I could cancel the payment method that I had paid with a wrong card to pay with another. She immediately told me NO with an attitude that even felt bad. Anyway, she tells me that I had already made the payment and that the payment method could not be changed. I told her please call the manager to see if can help me. She tells me that it’s okay when she goes and comes back, she comes and tells me that the manager is coming in a moment, while I’m next to her she tells another employee in the form of gossip and mockery what I was requesting. What a lack of empathy on her part.

I’m waiting for the manager to see that he’s coming but he stops to talk to another cashier who is explaining to him I understand that she explains what I was requesting he looks at me and simply goes to another place. After waiting and without anyone telling me anything, it’s just my turn to leave.

We are human and little things happen to one. Simply a more polite and humanitarian treatment had been so well received.

I’m not one to be leaving these types of comments but it’s good that people find out what they could experience by visiting Latin Fresh Market.

I definitely won’t go back...

We had a nice experience in this store this past weekends. We are a couple of gringos, (well, I’m Spanish but I can’t speak it), and went there to order the pernil meal for Christmas. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the food selection. This store has it all! It’s similar to an American Fresh Market, but of course very Latin! I tried to food from the food bar as well. It was super busy on a Saturday around 2p. The employees were friendly, but very busy! Even the manager said hello. The lady who took my order for the Christmas dinner walked me to the counter to pay, she was very friendly. Some customers stared us up and down as if we didn’t belong there, but who cares. This is America! I can shop there too and give them my money if I want to. What can I say, people are sometimes rude anywhere you go. Anyways, that has NOTHING to do with the store! We will be back - of course to pick up our Christmas catering meal, but also to shop for Latin foods we cannot find elsewhere and to be in a clean, well organized store with quality meats. Oh yes, we bought some picanha to grill. It was was delish, and a few Latin fruits and vegetables we’ve been looking for -...

I have been going here for over 3 years and have loved this place for a long time, but recently the quality has been going down and the portions of food have reduced. I ordered oxtail today, and they the staff said that with oxtail is only 3 pieces. I said fine but when i get home with the food it wasn’t even 3 full pieces. It was half pieces and quarter pieces. I don’t even know how you manage to cut the oxtail through the bone in that way. The 3 pieces combined don’t even make a full piece. Completely ridiculous. The food tastes great on some occasions, but terrible in other occasions. I don’t know if they have different cooks that work on differing days, but it’s definitely not consistent. The prices have been going up, which is very understandable with the current economy, but quality shouldn’t go down with rising prices. I would rather the prices go up more but the quality and quantity to remain high. Seriously considering not buying food from this location anymore. I’ll probably go again in a week or two and if i don’t see a change i won’t be going anymore. I do hope they return to how...

Status Update. I no longer shop here. Food got worse and worse. Help behind the counter is horrible, mean, hateful and totally inconsistent. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Once a shining beacon to latin food lovers, this grocery has lost all of it's lustre. Climbing prices, smaller skimpier sandwiches, blander food, cheaper products, high staff turnover rates and unpredictable service are all in play. My ham and cheese sandwich has 5 different prices and is made different every time depending on who makes it. The lady at the register just shakes her head and rolls her eyes every time I pay. NO MAS!! A thing of the past are the long lines for food, parking is much easier due to less traffic and make sure to repeat your order 3X for a 70% chance of accuracy. Employees cite conditions and pay as issues. While all the above is true, this is still a latin market with the largest inventory of latin product anywhere in the area. Your just going to pay more than anywhere else. Shop here if you must, avoid it if you can. Sooner or later, you WILL REGRET coming.

Went there to order food for dinner but when we got there the food on display had no prices or menu listed, so we asked for a menu and all we got was a catering menu. Feeling rushed due to the way ordering is structured (people cutting in front while you're ordering and interrupting you), we decided to just order some food we usually like, but it ended up costing a whopping $90 total for all the stuff in the picture. Their system needs updating and they need to show an actual menu and prices so you don't have to ask for every single little thing described to you. Edit: Having just had it for dinner, the food tasted good but was over salted and the 4 of us have enough food to have the same dinner again, so the price is a bit more reasonable than i expected.

Been shopping here every week since it opened and it's always a good experience - from the friendly staff to the reasonably priced produce, cheeses, pantry items, fresh baked goods (and more!) to EBT acceptance ... While the emphasis is decidedly Latin, you can find plenty of other options here - though why buy a potato when you can buy fresh yucca, right? ... Also a fan of the $1 hot, fresh BUTTERED Cuban bread, wide variety of arepas and $1.49 bag of espresso.
