TOPS Friendly Markets — Local services in City of Batavia

100% ♿ accessible. This newly updated Tops Market is the largest Tops store I've ever seen! And VERY nicely re-done, right down to the new, convenient-styled shopping carts!! It was like a "mansion" of grocery stores- a luxury shopping experience. It provides a large variety of product choices, isles clearly labeled, very friendly & helpful staff, eager to assist. Has a Tops gas station. Negatives: Expensive!!! Prices are inflated much higher than all other comparative stores, unless they're on sale. Not one thing was cheaper. Several items on my list were, on average, 100, 200% more. Many frozen foods had empty shelves, out of stock & no staff was in that dept restocking. If prices were more competitive, I'd consider driving the half hour to shop there more frequently than other grocery stores only...

I came all the way from North Carolina I went and shopped here because my adult daughter and grandkids stay here for the holidays. This is where it went left my mistake for leaving my credit card at the house so I asked the cashier could she save my order until I run to my daughter's house to get my card she said yes, i left and came right back the cashier was gone, so I politely stood in another line and asked another cashier could she tell me what to do if I had a cashier save my order she said no all Nasty and as I walked away she said something smart with another customer and started laughing at the end of the day they need to treat All customers the same Batavia is like this and has been for years. A change gone come at some point. Batavia SMMFH....TOPS YOU NEED TO TRAIN...

my name is Josh and I'm appalled at this place they charge 3 times what others ate charging for same stuff and still can't fix their freezers $6 for melting ice cream ...even with a sale their more expensive than Wal-Mart and then trick you to think your getting deals your not realling getting then advertise one price and charge another ....if Wal-Mart carried everything they had they would have closed alreasy I hope I'm still in this stupid town the day they go out of business so i can celebrate....foe example 2 liters $3 for $5.55 their $1.25 everyday at Wal-Mart ..bacon buy 3 get 2 free but they want $7.99 each Wal-Mart price under $4 ....but meat get the meal ingredients free ..however the ingredients are store brand and their overcharging you drastically...
