Rent-A-Center — Local services in City of Batavia

I bought a brand new laptop from Rent A Center. Paid it off and I pay the insurance every week. My fan has been acting up since shortly after purchasing it. I asked Rent-A-Center Batavia NY to look at the fan, they sent it back after 8 days. They told me it would take 2. It is still very noisy and it heats up to 198 degrees after less than 3 minutes turned on. It didn't do that before they looked at it. They are now saying the only thing they can do is give me someone's gross previously used dirty computer. The computer I purchased was new, but when I questioned them why the packaging was not with it, they said they don't know, because I received it without packaging. It's been less than a year. My laptop has never left my desk. It has never had anything spilled on it. It was missing backplate screws from day 1. I paid for a high end gaming laptop and they gave me their broken junk. They are now saying it could take a long time to get me someone else's trash computer. If they can't find one, I have to buy a new one over again. If I could give zero star I would. Let me start off by saying me and my husband both get paid Tuesdays we made this very clear when we ordered through these people. But yet they decided EVERY Saturday to call us and ask r we coming in. I don't know what kind of business they are running but eventually it got to feeling like they were harassing us. I understand that they want there money but when people tell you something understand English jesus. Another thing that happened was we ended up behind in a couple weeks payment tried explaining our situation had some medical problems gping on and they demanded there stuff back saying we were behind they wanted there money. Poor poor experience! This place removed my feedback. They not only don’t take care of customers, but they don’t allow them to warn others of their ill behavior.

I bought a recliner from them, paid it off early, but a bolt sheared off a few days before my pay off date in original contract. They told me nothing they could do. I left a review on google and RAC corporate site. They reached out to me and had me come in to talk to regional manager who reassured me they would get us a new chair. Never heard back from them.
