Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in City of Cortland

Over the summer, I was hanging out with a friend of mine and went here for the first time EVER! I think this was the third Ollie’s location I’ve been to! Absolutely GREAT service! I did find a lot of cool stuff as well. I give this 4 stars because bathrooms were blocked off. My friend got these really nice shoes!! While I got a new water bottle simply because, it was a water bottle I got for my birthday, and it was Naruto and Sasuke! Unfortunately it started to come off and I didn’t want it anymore😢So I gave it to my friend! I also got this nice blue shirt as well!! AND ALL FOR LIKE $26.96!?!? (I can’t remember the price) at other places that would’ve been like $50.00-$70.00! I also absolutely ADORE the girl who checked us out! Her name is Mary!! She used to help out at camp Owahta! The public bathroom is blocked off!! When asking why, since I needed to go and watched an employee come out of one. Then lied.. then I asked a manager what staff does for the bathroom and he said it's complicated. Followed by a few stigma statements.. 1 the company obviously is part of the problem if they don't see people that are homeless are people too!! 2 people who use drug have a disease, not even an argument classified a disease in 1987! 3 if syringes are found in the bathroom give sharp containers for people who need to inject their insulin, and stop assuming it's from street drugs . 4 lastly I had a cart full the mother in law had a half full cart . Recently visited due to the Ithaca location being closed. I thought it was well stocked, well organized, and had a clean and bright feel to it. You come to Ollie's for a bargain hunting experience, and if you know your prices, you will probably come away with a bargain (depending what you are looking for of course!) It is not fancy, it is just what it needs to be, which is not everyone's cup of tea. I found some great deals, but the checkout area was cluttered, and there was little space to pack the bags, hence the 4 stars. Definitely...
