Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Barry’s son James, who is now at the head of the business following his father’s passing. I was in town for only a short while, and had two rings and a pair of earrings that were in dire need of repair, cleaning, and polishing. I came to the shop on a Saturday morning, aware that I may not be in town long enough for all the desired work to be completed before my departure. James went above and beyond my expectations, going out of his way to have everything ready for me within 3 days. I picked up my items the following Wednesday morning, and not only were they perfectly repaired, they were cleaned and polished so beautifully they looked as new as the day I got them! I am so thrilled by the quality of James’ work and the care and attention with which he treated my jewelry. I felt as appreciated by him as I always did by his father. When I say James went above and beyond to get us our wedding bands in less than two weeks.... I am still not over it!!! He made the impossible possible. When we reached out to James to custom make our bands, we scheduled an appointment to visit his shop and get the process rolling about 3 weeks before our wedding. Well, life happened, and we had to cancel our appointment --- but James quickly jumped into action, understood my panic, and brought the process to us. He worked on his day off to meet with us to hear what we wanted and show us some samples. I had very specific asks to complete my set and he exceeded my every expectation and gave me the wedding band of my dreams!!!! He even had my husbands ring engraved for me, which was so special and my favorite part, in the quick turnaround we needed!!
