Jade Fortune — Restaurant in City of Glen Cove

very average run-of-the-mill place. frankly I was a little disappointed because I saw so many high reviews compared to other Glen Cove area places. It was nothing special, if anything I drank slightly lower than the others. I ordered general tso's chicken. It had some, but not a lot of flavor. It was not at all spicy the way I was told it would be. The mean itself was a little bit tough and dry inside making the pieces slightly more chewy than most.

The crispy noodles to go with the soup (or duck sauce) we're a little bit soggy as if they had been left out on a wet humid day where they lose that crisp crunch they have when they're fresh.

The wonton soup base pretty much had no flavor. I understand that they're probably trying to avoid using MSG for the benefit of customers, But it could have at least used a little salt and pepper. there was none on the tables and I didn't feel like getting up to ask.

Again, nothing was horrible, But I would rank it a little bit below the other places, such as China Palace.

I've been wanting to try here because of seeing so much higher rankings than everywhere else, But it's just average at best, nothing seems better than the...

They are liars and thieves. I've ordered from them several times on ubereats. Placed an order and Ubereats added the wrong address. I immediately saw the error and tried to correct the address using the app. Ubereats cancelled the order instead. Ubereats said that I would not get a refund because the food had already been prepared. I called the restaurant right away and told them what happened and I just wanted the order delivered to the usual address. They confirmed that the food was prepared and they remembered who I was from previous orders. Despite this they said they couldn't deliver it to the correct address, there was nothing they could do about it. Well, that's not true. You could deliver the food. So 1) they get paid and 2) they didn't deliver the food. Shame on them for taking the money and not performing...

I ordered orange juice, vegetarian delight, and moo shu vegetables with four pancakes on ubereats from here, I love the oj and vegetarian delight , but I did not know their moo shu vegetables contains eggs, im a vegan so I do not consume egg, dairy, honey, or any animal products, and on ubereats there’s no place for me to leave notes to let them know that please do not put egg in it; I’m sorry I really can’t consume this moo shu, I don’t like to waste food but the smell of the eggs is really too strong for me, I can’t even swallow it, I’m truly sorry , thank you for the fresh juice , truly thankful , I end up enjoy the four pancakes (they are tortilla vegan bread...
